Some old CS DAK attacking past a damaged water hole. I think these figures are excellent and really like the detail and the gaunt look you can only get in intense combat

Those were the sets that brought such adolescent satisfaction to a few characters on the forum when they were released. My goodness the Zombie term was thrown about in the most heartless manner! I liked the figures and they really displayed the detail and the potential of the tools we are using, alas their faces were a bit dried out I'm afraid it is true.
But there is some sadness in seeing those very same voices completely silent during the vast leaps in work by TCS. It was such a delight to point and ridicule, but now that the pieces are quite fine there is not a word to be said. Ahhhh such is human behavior: it is to be excused , " it is rare to see the unique man rise up against the crowd of simple human behavior." Im just as guilty as the rest at times.
Really intense figures, a CS trademark! Is it just me, or does CS perhaps do the finest job on German helmets? Thanks for posting the pics of these early figures.
Here is the grenade thrower considering how old these sets are I was amazed at the way that the grenade was attached and thrown with fuse loose!!!!
The DAK range was (and still is) great and, I liked the 88mm crew as they were all one mould not seperate arms on the shirtless guys. Looking forward to seeing these new figure sets
