I don't see why people try and pick arguments here.I said this purely on my own behalf.I have dead and wounded in my collection because its real,its what happened and people suffered for our freedom.In my view its absurd to ignore this side of realism but get upset if a Tank is painted the wrong colour.
Also FYI not only have i talked to many vets in Normandy and told them i've taken sand from all the beaches as a memento but some have actually been with me at the time and had no problem at all in understanding it was by way of tribute.Just so we are clear.

Ditto for some of the Canadian vets. They understand the use of Juno beach sand is a tribute. It's like wearing a poppy on Remembrance Day or having a piece of the Berlin Wall.
