During the making of our ALH dio it was quite noticeable that there was a lack of dead Lighthorse troopers and Turks to use in the set up, you can see in the pictures that some figures of such would've added greatly to the whole scene. Some troopers being shot on and off their mounts, troopers and Turks dead and wounded on the ground and ect are sorely needed, also a trooper holding the reins of several horses also would be a good addition to the range. When last in Brisbane Andy floated the idea of ALH figures in column like the picture of the ALH marching into Jerusalem in 1917, I do hope he goes ahead with that idea. Just some thoughts on my behalf.
Wayne.

Trust you to notice that one mate! Perhaps if you come to Brissy sometime, you should wear your "Weagles" Guernsey when you visit the museum! Then again, I don't think the fellas want a ruckus in the museum when security throws you out!!! ^&grin

Technically was it the Bears Reserves (don't know what the official title is) to be the first non Victorian side to win a flag?

Marc (Barneywomble) who in real life is a professional photographer, was kind enough to come into the Museum today and take some photographs. In a few days I will load some of them up once he has sent them through. His contribution was professional in every sense of the word bar one - I did not pay!

Many thanks Marc!!

Hi Guys, hi Wayne,

Many thanks for posting some extra pix of the “Beersheba” diorama you guys are building down under. It’s looking terrific!

Dead and dying figures are on our list and will be appearing, I hope, later in the year. However, before that there’s the column of ALH on trotting horses that will come first sometime in the 2nd Quarter of 2014.

All of you blokes are doing a great job – I hope to send some items for you to include. In the meantime…All the best and charge!

....I have to ask this boys, is that a typo (Weagles) or are you lads referring to the 'Wiggles' by any chance? Then again I could have things completely ***-about-face?^&confuse......silly Kiwi:tongue:

Seriously though I really love what you lads have done, what I'd give to have that sandpit to play with.

Andy

Thank you very much. The figures are very good to work with - lots of dash and colour to them. They were the first thing I saw when I visited Brett's shop looking to start the hobby over two years ago now. The Imperial Guard and the Black Watch won out ... but only for a while! I was very pleased to see a manufacturer making Australian figures and making them so well.
