Dealing with new company (2 Viewers)

Has anybody dealt with a company called Saimex.I might purchase something from them.I have never dealt with anybody outside the U.S.except Canada and the U.K..This company is in Italy.Any advice would be appreciated.

The only person I know of would be Shannon Reuss owner of Treefrog. TF is now selling Allotoys which is distributed by Saimex, I believe. You could PM her or email at shannon@treefrogtreasures.com. I believe they carry some FIW soldiers.

Saimex is a fairly large company, to the best of my knowledge, and is the King and Country distributor for Italy so I would believe they're fairly reputable.

Very reputable, I got the John Jenkins BM series from them when it was all sold out in the states at a reasonable price I might add. Nice folks,

I once bought a K&C retired item from them, everything went OK, just thought, from their info, that shipping would be cheaper...:D

I ordered a couple of sets off Mr. Allorini and he was very helpful and even called me here in the states to help me because I was having trouble faxing him.seems like a good company to deal with time will tell.

I want to thank you Mark for starting this thread and bringing to my attention another resource for JJD FIW figures. I contacted Stefano Allorini and was able to purchase a set of FM-02 French Marines in Militia uniforms which as you know is impossible to find here in the States. These figures will fit in nicely with the western PA and VA themes I am interested in. I feel fortunate to have been able to get this set since only 250 were made and have been long sold out and out of production. Stefano was great to work with, great email contacts and absolutely no communication barriers - I wish my Italian was as good as his English. Item has been shipped with tracking number. Will show it off when it gets here. Thanks again Mark.

I contacted them about a JJ set many months ago and they quoted me a $90 shipping charge to the US.:eek:

My shipping charges were about the same also for the FM02 set that I purchased.

I received my FM02 set today from Saimex. It was mailed last Monday - a total of 8 days to get here - very fast service. Stefano was a great person to do business with - very professional, efficient, and helpful. Thanks again Mark for starting this thread. The French Marines in militia dress will fit in great with my western Virginina and western Pennsylvania themes.
