Last but not least here are some previews below of our new WW2 releases coming soon, all of which are on a slow boat from China as we speak. The winter Brummabr I am sure many of you will already recognise and some new Heer tankers reloading their Panzer 4.

The winter Brummbar comes with commander figure, removable side skirts and opening/closing commanders hatch so you can create alternate looking versions. There will be two numbered versions with '3' and '8' on the side plus a blank canvas variant with no decals applied, in order that you can create you own unique Brummbar. Each variant will be limited to 50 worldwide.

There will be something like other 10 new vehicles next year as we ramp up production in this sector and slow down on our warbirds.

The Korean War

This year also marks another anniversary in that its the 70th year since the start of the Korean war in 1950, which incidentally has still not ended!
Once again this is a set that should have made it out of the starting blocks a few months back but for one reason or another (cannot for the life of me think what) has been delayed.
However we are pleased to announce the first of four figures for this series which will be available first quarter of next year.

In it we have four US Marines in fish tail parkas in a winter patrol type scenario, for those of you who remember the Mods from the 1960's this set should be particularly reminiscent!
We hope you like them, the painted samples look superb and should be with us shortly.
This four man patrol set is limited to 100 in number only, pre-order now if these are of interest, which of course we hope they will be.

The End of WW2

To mark the 75th anniversary of the end of WW2, we have brought to you a unique commemorative set featuring General Macarthur with Generals Wainwright and Percival stood behind him, (both of whom were captured by the Japanese during 1942) as they all would have been on the deck of the mighty USS Missouri in 1945.
Macarthur gave these two Allied officers ringside seats for the Japanese surrender, the irony of which cannot help to have been noticed by the Japanese delegation attending.

We also have at present four Japanese officials including Foreign Minister Shigemitsu amongst others. Chief of the General Staff General Umezu will follow as will General Blamey for the Australian contingent. These two figures are in the grey resin, painted version will follow soon. This initial set of seven figures should be available in February 2021. Some of these figures will be available with a round base in order to fit in with our previous Japanese surrender set in the jungle.

The wooden effect mat shown in the photos is also going to be available but will be a lighter teak colour to represent the deck of the Battleship where the surrender document was signed.

Apologies for the delay in procuring this set, it should have been available in August but like everything this year we are running something like 3 months behinds due to you know what.

Massacre at Teutoburg

A preview of what is coming for our Roman series, as you can see from the pictures below the whole drama of that terrible few days for the Romans is starting to come alive now in 1/30 scale. Most of these pieces will be available in January/February 2021.

Dear All

Welcome to an end of year update with news of some of what's coming in 2021. The ideal scenario would be to unveil all of these at the December London show, alas that has not happened this year so we are sending out some of next years previews now in this digital format. Starting off in historical context lets travel back to Ancient Egypt and one of the best known characters from that period.

EGYPT005

A new addition to the Egyptian series and one of the great love stories of all time, when Cleopatra met Julius Caesar. As history recants, Cleopatra was at the time engaged in a civil war with her brother for control of the Egyptian empire.
Lacking in any meaningful military forces at her command, but also knowing of the recently arrived in Egypt Caesar and his penchant for young female royalty, Cleopatra had herself smuggled into Caesar's quarters inside a rug.

As they say the rest is history, Caesar was in the right place at the right time with the right army. Cleopatra's brother was defeated in battle and she attained the throne.
The affair lasted until Caesar's death and produced a child who was murdered along the way some years later, as seemed to be the custom in those days, kill or be killed was an appropriate motto for royalty and common folk alike.

Once Caesar was dead, Cleopatra seemed to quickly overcome her grief and teamed up with Mark Antony, producing even more offspring than she had with Caesar.
For those of you who are not aware, Mark Antony was eventually killed in another of Rome's civil wars and Cleopatra then killed herself at the hands of an Asp snake.

Our depiction is of course subject to artistic licence and portrays the moment when Caesar and Cleopatra met for the first time, it's an interpretation we hope you will enjoy.

Limited to 150 pieces worldwide and available early part of next year.

Another iconic piece or two from ancient history will follow in 2021 but these we have to keep under wraps for the time being.

She looks fine the way she is John, but may soon need some ointment for carpet burns.

Two of the Brumbar will be winging there way to me in the new year, have ordered, also look forward to the camo version. Plus will get the loaders, the Romans and Germanic Tribesmen are also a must.

The Japanese sets will make a nice stand alone vignette, as will the Cleopatra and Caesar set, but as with us all, i have to draw the line somewhere.

10 new vehicles is exciting, lets hope they all do not have a German cross on them.

Thank goodness these are not all arriving at the same time or the budget would have a blow out. Lots to consider and look forward to. TG deserves a rest and a relaxing Christmas. Robin.

Love the Caesar/Cleopatra set. I wish Caesar was not wearing breeches, but I can live with it.

Any chance there will be some at rest/non-combat Caesarian Legionaries to go with this set? To make a non-combat Caesar era camp scene?

Also, some regular female Romans would be good to see too as Legion camp followers. Along with some Gallic/German slaves. A group of chained slaves being marched along by a Legionary would go great with your upcoming Ox Cart.

Great set and a must have, please, please remove the base from the Cesar figure! it is not needed if the figure is leaning against the table. It would stop me buying it if the base remains.

Agree the base on Caesar is not necessary. Hopefully Cleo is not attached to the carpet either. Thinking I might use the surrender set with the Japanese behind the table and my British in front to fit into my Fall of Singapore dio. Any thoughts?
Robin.

Robin...
yes...I concur...
that base on Caeser is thick and clunky...
I would prefer no base at all if his hands are attached to the table making him stable...
if the base must stay...I would at least prefer a regular sized "foot figure base"...
and yes again...
Cleopatra is limited in her diorama poses if she is adhered to that rug...
her sculpt doesn't require a base allowing her to be used in a lot of different ways...

still...either way...
they are great poses and I'm getting them both...

but if it's not too late to modify them...
that's my 2 cents worth...
