Just had a shower and as usual I am faced with major decisions, shampoo that is.

I counted 18 various shampoos and conditioners, gels and lotions. My family is wife and I, daugther and son. However none of the various options arer male products so I have to make a guess as to which to use. If they had a navy blue bottle with the words shampoo for guys it would be easy for my son and I. But I am faced with pinks and purples etc. Then there is all the differrent types of hair ; fine, medium etc. One thing is obvious is that my wife and daughter are not loyal to any brand. The record by the way was 24 containers.

I still have not found one that says crew cut or not much. This morning I opted for one that said normal.

Is it just my shower or is this common ?

Time for football team shampoo. Same shampoo but multiple varieties of containers in various team colours.

Brett

Simple answer to your problem. Pester your wife and daughter with constant questions about the different qualities of the shampoos. If you make it irritating enough they will get fed up and buy you your own. Trooper

brett,

all my gals have finally left home, so the dathroom is now uncluttered, with only one shampoo and one conditioner standy very lonely on the shower shelf.

Pauline and I share them 2 , and even the soap !!! :)

LOL. Used to have this problem when household was full. Now that the "chicks" have all left the nest there are just two bottles, shampoo and conditioner, and with the amount of hair I have, the conditioner is, ah, superfluous.:redface2: Hard to get confused, now.{sm3} -- Al

Yep, two women sharing MY shower. Lot's of bottles. LOT'S of long hair in the drain.

If I had two women sharing my shower, I doubt I would notive the hair in the drain.{sm4}

Hahahhahah! In my case it's my wife and 15 year old daughter and only the individual use of the common shower is "sharing." Anything else would be "icky", at least in my part of the U.S.

I wish the women in my house would use their talents in cleaning up afterwards and recycling the various "product" bottles.

BY the Way....with way does the water spin down the drain in Australia?

Brett,

From my experience of females, there is no such thing as normal shampoo! So what I do when confronted by a myriad of small plastic bottles is to mix them all together! Not a popular move but nether the less a good laugh. {sm4}

lol, I have this same problem. I need to be careful so I don't go to work in the morning with my hair smelling like strawberries and flowers.

Dare I say I found the solution to all of this sometime ago- as the saying goes......

when in Rome, do as the Romans do.............

I switched to female deodorant (spray) and shampoo. I don't use conditioner though. Actually, women's deodorant is made stronger because women I guess have more active sweatglands than the guys do....go figure.

Makes for quite the talking point at the gym- after the shower, some of these guys are just BRUTAL!! {sm4}{sm2} But hey, at 38, I am just too old to care or change anymore.

Aren't we going to argue over company,s/size/prices,etc........................{sm4}

Kerastase, accept no substitute^&grin^&grin^&grin...

Some 20 or more years ago I was "senior batchmaker" at a plant that made women's hygene products, 1000 gallons at a time. I could put in a hard day's work with tanks, pipes, chemicals, and mixers and still come home smelling like a spring garden or a "cuddly clean baby."

Use one of the other bathrooms. Has worked for us. Or put one of
those dispensers on the wall. Here's an example, but there are better
designed available at shops that cater to luxury bath items.
