Deep in the desert (1 Viewer)

Great series. Always liked the Valentine camo paint scheme. Figs well placed with the terrain. Chris

Actually I think that’s a Matilda (Infantry Tank Mk II) but the K&C desert Valentine definitely has a great splinter camouflage paint job as well. Photos like these excellent ones below from Horus inspired me to delve into the North African Campaign figures and vehicles recently.

I enjoy seeing your desert collection, Steve. Some pieces I'm familiar with while others I have never scene. Great shots!

Cheers Rob.

The Motorbike and side car combination is a Del Prado one that comes in two parts, slightly smaller than K&C and the Panzer III is ED with a Figarti commander. The AK figure is actually LRDG infiltrating {sm4}{sm4} Also the wounded officer being dragged to cover by a Soldier is also Figarti.

Cheers Chris, though as Tman says it's actually a long out of production Matilda, difficult to find and certainly gives the original purchaser a very healthy profit.

Thanks Tman. Yes quite correct a Matilda.
Yes the 8th Army and Afrika Corps are an interesting range for sure.
