I visited the show on Saturday, and thought "credit crunch" what credit crunch, boy was it busy, i did get down quite late about 11.30 and had about 2hrs then that was enough,it wasn't particularly enjoyable, i like to walk my own pace not stuck behind somebody who takes 2 steps every hour
Ive got to ask,was it the busiest show you've ever been too?I really don't like queuing and their seemed to be permanant queues at K&C,Figarti and Britains
I purchased some Morgan Minatures Aztec standard bearers x2,they had a small but quite colourful display,John Jenkins, Officer with Regimental Colours
USCH-09 and QF-01 The Retreat of Montcalm,i haven't included images as most of you have seen them before. Then went to Guards Toy soldier shop and picked up 2 Trophy sets 1 union civil war and WW1 Americans in campaign hats at 50 percent reduction each (happy days)
Then on the way back to the train ,i decided to call in at Hamleys, they had a 20 percent sale, did it include Toy soldiers,i will never know
Heres the quite scene on regents street and outside Hamleys
regards steve
ps if anybody wants some photos of the Trophy sets, let me know and i will post in the Trophy section?
