Hi Does anyone know where to see a defintive catalog of this maker?

I see sets online that aren't on old website for example.

My first thought is that George/Warrior may have something, if there is anything like a comprehensive list. He's been a Frontline dealer for years, if I am not mistaken.

Yeah, Frontline's website was never updated all that frequently.

Prost!

Seriously, though, when we look at Frontline's website, we can see the problem Grant has brought up-it's just not up-to-date or complete. When I look at the 1914 Parade Dress page, for example, I see that it's missing the German and Austrian sets that were part of that series. I'm not sure about the other pages. Colonial Classics looks like it might be complete, though many of the items have "Deleted" in their description. In any case, I don't know if anyone has collected anything like a comprehensive, single catalog of Frontline's output. There are probably just catalog sheets sent to dealers and customers.

I'd shoot an IM off to George at this point and ask him if he's got any info.

I'll have to look through my catalogs, especially the ones from Armchair General back in the early 90s. I think they sold Frontline, too.

best way is www.archive.org use wayback machine for the website frontline-figures.com you can usually find the old sets that way. Gerard removed sets as they were retired.

This issue brings to light something I have been kicking around for a while, which is we (collectors) really need to scan and post our catelogues from older companies that are still here or long gone. I know there are folks out there who have paper lists and catalogs piled up in their offices so perhaps we can discuss more and maybe even start a thread with these lists. Anyone else think this is a good idea?

Yeah, I've thought about that occasionally, Dave. I've got some old hobby magazines that I want to scan, too. My problem right now is technical; I don't have an operational scanner.

Prost!
