In France, every week there is a new booklet with a figure that is distributed, so people buy the booklet they want and there is, you can easily imagine, a lot of unsolds ever week. Del Prado or any other editor who's selling his products on the same manner usually don't destroy them. They can resell them years later, edit them like an encyclopedia (when a figure or any other gadget is not involve) or send them here in Québec. But those series (Del Prado & Hachette) are not available even if we are able to buy actually, every week, booklets on Easter Eggs (!!!) with an easter egg everytime. (close your eyes...). But no Del Prado or Hachette. Strange. It's in french, it's about history (over 50 magazines to choose between every months, french and english), there's a toy soldier, it's a product good for youngs and less youngs and NO, not available. And the distributors are not small players in distribution as I'm sure that over 60% of the magazines are from USA or Europe. All that phrasing to tell that I think that Michtoy had not the choice than to buy all the collection and to make their profits to sell it like in France the only difference is that it will be directly instead via bookstores.
And I still believe that that DEL-MW06 as not the minimum quality to be call a military miniature and unlike other toy soldiers it doesn't have the charm to date from the XIXth century.
My best regards,
Pierre.
