Desert Arrival! (1 Viewer)

Mate, you said the backdrop would set the whole scene off and you're spot on! :salute::

Magic display Tom, really love all the little bits of detail and the dead palm fronds is a nice touch. All you need now is a couple of goats and some sheep.^&grin

Great seeing the twins again and that Honey & Humber are the bomb.

Tom,

nice setup there.... and good to see a couple of modified 'Matildas waltzing' into the village ..... :)

I'm sure that I could also make use of Jakob's creation to display 'Napoleon's Expeditionary Force into The Orient' so let me know if you even want to relocate it 'down south' ???

Well Done,

John

Thanks John and I still admire the rename job of "Harold" that you did on one of my Valentines. I would however love to see a new Matilda some day waltz into my village if Andy ever makes another one. Regarding my dio's relocating down your way, sorry mate but old Napoleon and his Expeditionary force will have to find another village to set up camp. ^&grin

Hi Guys, hi Tom,

Congratulations on yet another "desert storm" of a great display and diorama.

Tom like me, you definitely believe "that while a few figures look good... add some relevant vehicles and they look even better... Put all of them into a great diorama / display..." and now you're talking!!!

Yourself and many other collectors most definitely see the additional advantages of producing scenes and scenarios that tell a multitude of stories in exciting and creative ways.

The boys down in Brisbane are "past-masters" at this as are collector / modellers such as Robin, Duke, Jakob, Guy, Wayne, Kevin, Western Outlaw, and many, many others too numerous to mention.

Well done lads, one and all, keep 'em coming!

Best wishes and happy collecting.
Andy

Thanks Andy, glad you enjoyed my latest and making dio's come alive wouldn't be possible without great products from manufacturers such as yourself.
