Like K&C desert village buildings so have to agree this building is very nice also, something different. Cheers, Robin.

Mate top job, love everything about it, you can almost hear them talking.{bravo}}
Wayne.

Very nice effort Simmo.
I personally would weather the building and especially the paint work much more . These desert buildings suffer a lot from sun and sand .
carry on the good work

Great job!!!!....Mini-art make some really nice diorama stuff..and sizewise they come out a bit larger than other 1/35th manufactures...They are though a bit of a hassle to build (for me anyway) my first and up to now last attempt ended in total disaster, but i have a couple more still waiting in the box...and next time i will succeed!!!!
I read somewhere that one way of putting these kits together is to fill both sides with plaster then they fit much easyer together!!...anyone any experience of this technique????.

Steve

What a nice building and what a fantastic job painting it Simmo! That must have been a lot of fun. It looks great w/ the K & C items and the appear to work quite well together. Thanks for sharing:) . I'm looking forward to seeing more! Joe

I'm really impressed with your model building skills...
the kit looks great...
your workmanship is great...
the painting too...

I didn't realize it was a kit with 130 pieces til I looked it up...

I also didn't realize it was only the facade til I saw the kit...

North African House
Scale: 1/35
Brand: MINIART
Item # 5835540
Vendor Item # 35540

Price: $54.50

after I found the price...I thought it was pretty expensive compared to the K&C prebuilt and pre-packaged buildings desrt buildings...probably more work that i want...hahaha...but you did a fantastic job on it and it looks spectacular...the detail is really quite nice...

Just looked it up myself as I was also impressed with your work Simmo. GREAT “ART”.
Mike, that particular kit is now on sale for $34. (Tempted?)

I didn’t see anything that would fit 1770’s AWI era, so I guess it is out to my back yard for more sticks to build me a log cabin or two.

I think Simmo did a wonderful job on it...but I think I'll pass...

the only link I found on Mini Art dealers in the US was this...

http://www.modelrec.com/search/product-view.asp?ID=12062

I really didn't exhaust my search any farther after I saw it was a facade...
