I was looking at these new figures again and really like the commando.

I've got a book called Kill Rommel, Operation Flipper 1941. He looks like he could be one of the men pictured on the cover. Commandos meet North Africa = too cool.

Also impressive is the light green field jacket on the other figure which is a pleasant deviation from the traditional K&C English desert tan. These are really nice! Would love to see a few more with some action poses.

Just a bit of info, The Officer is wearing a pullover rather than a jacket. All soldiers were issued with the cap comforter which could be used either as a cap or as a scarf.

Thanks for the info Steve - I had never heard of the pullover. I've got to get that movie as well.
 
A heads up for anyone interested.
There's two different retired LRDG trucks just come on ebay UK for anyone looking for them.
Please note, they're not mine nor do I know the seller, I just happened to see them.
