Congrats RH and to your missus who did the hard work, or so they tell us ;)

Congrats. Look forward to the first smile, that makes all the diaper changes worth it!

yup, its 3.30am here:D

I have a 3 year old son (Alec) and a 15 month old daughter (Ashley), so I feel your pain. The first 3 months are the really tough times, then it gets a bit easier. In any event, it is worth it my friend.

This was a new release for 2009:D Louis Patrick O'Donnell :) Not quite sure where to put him in the collection. He's already eyeing up the lights from my display cabinets..:)

Boy they make them more realistic each time a new model comes out. This is the most lifelike yet! Which line can one get this from?

Congratulations ! I think he looks a bit Churchillian !
It certainly is a life changing thing when you have a child.
Well done.
Regards
Brett

Congratulations, there's nothing better than collecting a "Strictly Limited" one of a kind! You have a beauty there, enjoy. P.S. I believe a cold wind blew up the spines of your toy soldiers with the prospect of a toddler arriving in a couple of years.....they're gonna have to scramble for cover!:eek:

Well this is one WMD that has even the spartans quivering:D Openly displaying them in my glass cabinets I fear will only bait him to seek a way past the childproof locks:D :D A good retreat is better than a bad stand and they may have to bunker down for a while in their boxes:D

Don't be overly worried about their effect on your collection. My 3 year old already knows how to handle the figures gently, and not to hold more than one at a time. He broke a couple of things when he was 1-1/2 to 2, before he really understood how to handle them, but I only let him touch things I could easily and affordably replace at that age.

My 15 month old on the other hand has to be watched like a hawk. She sees my son pick something up, and wants to do it herself. I have to be within inches of her at all times in the museum, or anything within her reach would be toast.

The best think to do is to give then responsibilities. I have two, Mateo 5 ½ and Lua 2 years old. With Mateo, I told him that only me and him is authorized to entry in my baseman room, where I make all my dioramas, he feels very important and sometimes even tells my wife to ask him permission to entry in the room…

The little one Lua, is more difficult (2 years old is terrible tools) I have to lock the door… all the time.

Ps. I think about call the Hurricane centre in Miami, and ask them to add my little girls name in the list for the 2009 hurricane seasons

LUA……:eek::D

Mine are all grown up but now I have a grandson. So the cycle continues. See my album 1 for picture of the grandson/WMD.:)
