This is the first time I can recall a 'Dieppe'- themed display...Congrats on originality!
Andy.
Well done on your Dieppe Raid diorama. Looks good !
Steve
What a absolute disaster this raid was for the allies. Handing over to the Germans many prisoners and their newly developed tanks. Although they did learn some important lessons for future invasions. Great to see your version, cannot remember any others on the forum. Looking forward to seeing some more scenes. Robin.

Great effort, vehicles are magnificently transformed to reflect reality,
Just one small remark: your British troops ??
The figures in the diorama belong to the British 3th infantry Div; (they could easily have been transformed into Canadian troops, just changing their sleeve badges into the badge of the 2nd canadian Infantry Div, the blue formation patch)
The British troops envolved in the Dieppe raid to my knowledge were commandos ?

Hi Guy, you're right ... :salute::
The figures are not authentic.
Unfortunately, not just the signs, but the equipment of the soldiers is not 'credible either'.
At Dieppe were attacker soldiers are not was camouflaged helmet, a pick, a spade...
I did not have the heart to cut the figures
This was a little attention call - I hope that one of the manufacturers will come up with elements on this subject. Andy also reacted...
I think, it deserves commemoration from this is accidental (??? !!!) tragic event...
