Dispatches are out for October..

12 new NAPOLEONIC Scotsmen :) :)

John

The new winter Tiger is puuurrrfect, and so are the rest of the new Bulge German releases. Among them, BBG037 really stands out and as an instant classic. The new Tiger is a must have for me, and the figures w/ it look great as well, which we already knew from the Chicago pics that folks here were nice enough to shoot and share.
Lucky for me, no direct hits on retirements either!
Thank you Andy and the whole team for doing such a fine job, as always.

Joe

Well Wish I had put money on the last SL of the year being a winter Tiger 1. It had to be did it not??? Good command vehicle for Battle of the bulge and some interesting combat troops for the BBG range.

Napoleonics abundant for those who like them and some really nice poses and SOHK street signs.

Good set of releases

It figures that Andy puts out all of these great releases for BoB after I have finished my dio. The SL Tiger, Skorzeny's Car, and the Boot Swapper are all must-haves! I'll have to figure out some way to fit them in, haha.

Still see no Crusades. Is it going to be in the November dispatch?

Good dispatch, retirements did not affect me this month. Napoleonic collectors finally have something to be happy about. No interest for me there but the flagbearer looks outstanding. BBG releases look good, the standouts are the boot thief and Luftwaffe trooper talking to the SS Grenadier. The Tiger looks great but I will pass on it as it does not fit with my collection interests and at that price there are many other things I want first. The one concern I have lately are all the limited runs which force the buyer to make a quick decision. For example the 247 looks great, I want one but at that price I need time and being so limited I guess it will be gone before I get to it, afterall my needs and wants list is ever growing.

CFM...

This so called feeding frenzy is a concern for many and, I think its great for manufacturers etc but, not for the collectors with limited budgets. I suppose its all about getting a dealer to do you the decent thing of getting your releases you want from the myriad of limited runs that are monthly available and see if they will do layaway and things like that to help further to allow collectors to get the sets they want and, ultimately buy more.

I know many do everything they can to help collectors. This immediate gratification which, is hitting the hobby more and more IMO will do more to harm the hobby than help in the long term. This is something all manufacturers will or should have to address sooner rather than later
