What about the serie Son of Empire? already stop? only 3 figures. one year ago.

Does anyone can give me some news about this serie?

It is very good to have scots and SS, but there is not only that!!

thank you for reading me....and sorry for my english:p

Did not K&C say that the SOE was going to be a smaller or slower series in relation to the number and frequency of releases. Its not been so long since we had the first three rather good releases. I am sure they will come its just about patience from collectors and fitting them into the release schedule.

SOE is a Sampler range. Ie it is a tester to see what the market was like and was only ever going to be a couple of sets to see how it went.

This is what Andy said in the November 2009 Dispatches when he introduced the range. If you send him an email, I'm sure he will answer your questions.

This is the beginning of an occasional new series that will focus on the soldiers of the British Empire during its zenith between 1880 and the beginning of the Fist World War. It will portray Infantry, Cavalry and, occasionally, Artillery as they would have appeared on parade (and in the field) at that time.

Have to agree with Pierre. Wouldn't mind seeing these excellent figures added to. We need a flagbearer and bugler, at the very least, for the Skinner's Horse. A couple of different lancers wouldn't hurt, either. -- Al

Me too, I've got about half a dozen of the CC Skinners Horse figures on parade and was looking forward to this series as an alternative to SOHK during their 'quiet' periods. Sadly, as far as my interests go it has been quiet for some time now (unless I want lamp posts).

Guess it's mainly the WW1 and WW2 stuff that sells so that's the market Andy is chasing... I think I'll see what the November Dispatches bring and make the decision as to whether to continue collecting K&C or just stop where I am. With limited space and little to indicate that there will be any new releases in my area of interest in the foreseeable future, I am getting restless and starting to think of other things to spend my monthly K&C budget on.

Sorry for the pun but ........... I would be a doctor if I had patients/ patience.

I know:D:D - don't give up my day-job.

BTW I dont just whinge. I bought Lord Gort and the Luftwaffe panzershrek pair today. Veeeeeery nice figures.

Now where are those British tank riders, WWII Russians and European Italians ?????

'Scots and SS'i Wish we got ome Scots to fight the SS!

Here's a way for the Scots to fight the SS. The ghosts of the Scots return to save their great, great, great, grandsons in a battle with the SS. Just imagine an SS trooper being bayonetted by a Scottish Colour Sergeant

Reminds me of the stories I used to read in the Battle, Warrior, Commando comics when I was a kid.

Now, am I inspired ???? .............. or loony ?? :):):):) Well I am an Aussie !!

Remember at Waterloo in 1815, their grandfathers could have been fighting on the same side !!!!!

Prussians AND Scots against the French..... its only been 150 years since Crimea that the French and British have been joint allies.... previously they were enemies !!!!

Just bought these 3 figures last week, very nice, intend to include them in my Sudan setups. Also hope there are some more to come. Cheers, Robin.
