Dispatches are up!! (1 Viewer)

Best of the bunch this month
Mitch

Me, I like the billboard and the SA Bill posters.
Some nice street scenes in the making for 2011.
Will make "Unter der Linden" Berlin 1938.
:D Guy

Some striking releases this month. The FFL are a surprise to me. The Luftwaffe releases are just fantastic with all the different ground crew, lounging pilots, and the 262. Will it stand on it's gear without the support? I also like the SA releases and signs. They are very creative and evocative. The Grant is a really nice looking tank and is tempting. although I don't do Western Desert. Nice job KC! -- Al

Don't know if I would go as far as ''boring'' but, are there not releases in the pipeline for non WWII?? I like the AE and SOHK range and would like more releases but, I know they are on their way

Dissapointing month for me, was SO looking forward to those 1914 French...oh well cant always get what you want, I know they are on the way so just have to be a little more patient. Congrats to all the guys waiting on the Me262. The LAH stuff looks really cool, I love vignette scenes that tell stories. The French Foreign Legion stuff is really cool, makes me wish I had more of an interest in WW2 desert warfare. Right soldiers, just wrong time period, I need them to be 20 years older lol. :D

Would have liked to have seen the Me 262 without the pilot as with the Desert Me 109. Either that or please make the pilot removeable.

At first look that Grant looks very sharp! The finish, the stowage and the posing of the TC all point to a first rate model. Even though I don't do Western Deserty in this scale I am tempted by this tank :)

Quiet month for me.........that's not a complaint I'm happy about that. Congrats to 8th Army and LAH collectors, its your month! None of the new releases are areas I collect. It'll enable me to pick up many "old stock" pieces earmarked for price increases in 2011! The standout is the Grant, nice piece, I like the camo and markings a lot. I've got an original camo FOV version and although its nice it can't compare to this baby. The Legionnaires are a neat surprise and look great. The LAH pieces have some really "out of the box" poses and really highlight K&C's creativity such a the drunks and poster guys (the Luftwaffe guy with the model airplanes is also clever). The LAH series has had so many releases and is so deep I guess K&C can start doing these very unique situations. I hope someday that kind of depth will exist in some of my favourite areas like MG, D-Day etc.
I'm really surprised by the lack of retirements. With all the new releases the retirements are not keeping up and there aren't many anymore on K&C's website. Perhaps they are waiting for their dealers to move out all the old stock before retiring more product. Those mounting Confederates look really cool and it seems to me they haven't been out very long. Can't imagine its because they weren't popular.
These monthly dispatches are so great, I really like how K&C does this. Here's looking forward to the new year and more amazing releases.

The Luftwaffe officer with model bomber is very good, but the Grant is No1 this month, check out the camo on this baby, I've got to get me a Crusader now:cool:

Would have liked to have seen the Me 262 without the pilot as with the Desert Me 109. Either that or please make the pilot removeable.

I could not agree more. Follow your remark about the Me262 completely.
Also interesting to know if it tilts when you remove the support ?
Guy:confused:

Guy...

I would hope that its an accuracy point the rear support as I have seen 262 pics with these. I would not think K&C could release a aircraft that tilted backwards as there would be quite a response for the price its looking to be especially in the UK. I would surmise that the engines will be quite heavy and substantial enough to support the rear of this aircraft

Might be one of those crazy Heinies that flew stuka's will dive bomb with anything

A great figure, may be wrong but, don't think anyone has done anything similar in 30th scale an innovative figure pose IMO.
Mitch

Nein Fritz, nein, the B17 is not a dive bomber!!!:D

... and neither a fighter too, from the way that B17 is being handled.

Who says the TS hobby is getting expensive ... where can you find a one figure 2 planes set for this price

Am happy for WWII collectors.
