HK193
Name: God of Longevity
Desc.: A sturdy, robust figure… this little figure is full of character, colour and sure to be popular.
Price: US$55.00

Do you think that price is correct or a typo?

I agree, will make a great addition to the wife's collection. {sm4}

Just read the dispatches on the KC site and was surprised to find KC on the Eastern Front. WS194, the SS VW, has the markings of the 5th SS "Wiking", a strictly East Front division. Maybe some more East Front stuff is on the drawing board.:wink2: -- Al

Some very nice looking pieces but I do find the prices a little daunting. I notice some of the DD figures have a $37 per figure pricetag.

I will probably wait for the 8th Army Priest. Guess I'll bite the bullet on the bowser.

This comment at the end of the Dispatches may engender some discussion:

"And that my friends is that… Needless to say there will be a few of the usual comments from a few of the usual suspects but I’m sure for most K&C collectors there will be something they like and want to get…"

Well my eyesight must be bad as I missed the Bit about the 8th Army Priest and have only just seen it! . I look forward to a bit more fire power for Monty at Alamein^&cool

Rob

Interesting stuff. I like the Priest, but agree that the crew should have been included as part of the set.

I have been waiting for more G.I.s, but why so many prone figures? They are nice, but limited in diorama use. At least for my purposes. And the 30 cal guy needs a loader.

Nice sculpts, don't get me wrong, but they just don't seem to go well with the recently retired G.I.s.

I see a lot of prone figures being released in sets lately. Is this an interest to most collectors?

Matthew

Rob...

It was in the speal about the priest said something like look out later in the year for an 8th army version.

Al...

Have said for a while we are in the east in all but range name. The latest release in Wiking colours just further emphasises this

Andy doesn't do Eastern Front. :wink2: At least not Russians {sm4}

Nice Priest and kudos to Andy for warning us there will be an 8th Army version for those of us that might prefer North Afrika campaign.

Terry

Rob, The priest does look good...good release by K/C...Just wish the crew was not an add on....It seems the crew is necessary to make this piece work...... Does anyone have the prices yet so we can get a bottom line on total cost?

If the crew was not an add-on, the total cost would be $297 - $225 for the Priest and $72 for the 2 crew. But why wish it wasn't an add-on? That makes no sense to me. If you want the model with crew, get them both and pretend it's one set. :rolleyes2: Unless this is some diabolical plot by Andy {sm2}

Priest + crew: exciting but EXPENSIVE !!!!!!!!!
guy:(

I see the two Brit landing craft are sailing into retirement, I wonder if this means the Figures from the British range will start going, possibly to make room for next year.

I now think I will add the new BR1 figures to the original releases to make a US landing dio.

Rob

I would think the priest and separate figures would be a welcome sight. Certainly would help with the budget?

Perhaps K&C are using at a way to gauge interest of vehicles with or without figures?

If they sell 250 Priests and say 225 sets of figures it would be safe to assume that the majority of Priest purchasers also bought the figures.

^&confuse

I think though either way with or without figures you will always upset some. Personally for me without figures but the option of having figures to add-on.

I would encourage anyone thinking about the Patrol Jeep to grab one before they are gone... it's a superb set.
