Dispatches are up! (1 Viewer)

Absolutley great dispatches! All the items are very nice, and the British figures are awsome! Particularly to me and my collecting, the FW Dora & LW figures and the French garage are must haves. Very happy with this May release!:smile2:

The retirements are killing me this month!!! I know everyone is talking about the new releases but holy cow the onslaught of retirements is relentless. {eek3} I've wanted all those D-Day Rangers, German and British tank crews that only recently came out and was hoping they'd be around awhile. Thats a short shelf life for pieces that only recently were released. Its getting very difficult to keep up with it all. :p

As for the dispatch its another winner. {bravo}} The LOA pieces are incredibly detailed. The D-Day Brits (including the Humber HQ car) and desert RAF are always going to be winners for me. The Dora is a nice plane with a fine paintjob. I like that pilot exiting the cockpit.......I wonder if he'd fit any other warbirds? I'd like to see an RAF pilot exiting the cockpit too. Like the colour choice on the Topolino, really stands out, a nice little car. Really reminds me of the 2012 Fiat 500 that's been released here in Canada. Kudos to K&C, there just isn't another company out there that releases the variety, quality and amount of pieces in a consistent fashion like they do.

Hi Mike,

I'm hoping SP049 is the same color scheme as the existing village pieces too. It looks fantastic, and I will be buying it either way. There was a preview picture of it in the last Collector, and there it looks to be a very nice match. Another outstanding, diverse dispatch. Great work K & C! Thanks for posting the thread Rob.

Joe...I think it is the same color scheme...it matches some of the other SP desert buildings perfectly in the pics...

the pictures of the all SP desert buildings show a slight variation in color scheme...

but when I put them all together on my table...they all match perfectly...

soooooooooooo...I'm pretty sure this new one matches them also...

the difference of the rectangular bricks and the irregular stones doesn't bother me...but as it won't be released for a while...I will ask Mr. Andy when I go to San Antonio...

Hi.
Are there any indications of what the Napoleonics might be?
Thanks,
MikeNick

Thanks for the info Mike. Enjoy the Texas show! If you find out about SP049's color scheme in TX, please let me know if you get a chance.

Hmmm, it looks like my Normandy Brit's are going to be re-enforced with a Humber Heavy Utility truck and a bunch of troops (including the bloke with a leaky tap!)

Might have to get the garage to service all the vehicles as well!

Tom

Lawrence and Ali are very nice figures and hopefully some charging camels to attack the Turks will be forthcoming.
I would like to see some "Napoleon in Egypt" action figures (both French and Mamelukes) in the near future.

With you on the Mamelukes. More Napoleonics would be great.{sm3}

Tom, I think the abandoned petrol station might make for a very good temporary company HQ^&cool

Not sure how many I will sell of these but I am looking forward to a shop dio with the two boats and SOHK figures to stand on the Jettys to watch the race. Will be colourful.

I so agree...these things are going to make anyone's dio/display's stand out with some UmpH! I love them...well done K&C!

Some very nice things this month, particularly Lawrence, which I will add, and the Chinese boats which I would like to add but I don't want to go down the SOHK road; that could be dangerous :wink2:

good to see your comments Brad

I have to tip my hat to K&C for some great soft skin stuff which many have been asking for. Thank You

Both versions look really good, the RAF has a slightly more beaten up/ weathered look which is very nice{bravo}}
