Dispatches are up! (2 Viewers)

Been a long time since I have bought any AFV's or ACW but the Jagdpanther looks really good and Bobby Lee's council of war is very tempting. The JP's zimm and camo are very nicely done. Might break down and buy something ground-related as opposed to aircraft, for a change.:wink2: -- Al

Looks to me to be a very good month for new releases, even ACW ! The Jadgpanther and British commandos seem to be some hot new releases already ...............^&grin
I like the low price of the British field gun with the ability to add crew members at the collectors discretion :salute::

Some of the new Civil War figures look good. I'm not sure Lincoln hits the mark but will be adding it nonetheless. The Pickett figure looks well done.

I know someone said that this is a reissue of older figures. That may be true but I think some of those are retired so if this is sort of a re-introduction of the range, it's not a bad re-introduction. Moreover, for those who may already have Lee, Stuart or Jackson, you can just add the ones not previously issued like Pickett or Meade.

I like the commando figures and it was a pleasant surprise when I saw them. I noticed that K&C have released 12 sets first up which is a bit away from there normal 8 to 9 sets in a normal release. I wonder why ? Any ideas guy's. Chris.

I have the older Jackson and Longstreet set as well as the mounted Lee and Stuart. I plan on picking up all of the new ACW releases this month for sure. They look just fantastic! Does anyone know if the ACW range will be expanded more?

The Commandos are great, I do like the face camo it is frankly very well done, nothing poor about them......:wink2:
Wayne.

What a great looking bunch of dispatches. A big month for WWII and ACW. The darker camo and zimmerit on the JP look terrific.

That's how I see it Brad, looks like a 150th Anniversary re launch and it looks splendid to me. As someone said yesterday, K&C do some superb personality figures and very much want these. Of course Lee and Meade will be fighting together for financial support against the Commandos, but War is hell mate:wink2:

Chris, the main reason that springs to mind is that it may be a full launch of a sub range as it were. When Andy released the D Day Brits we also had plenty of figures and Landing craft etc etc, when K&C launch something new they often do it in depth and with some style. I certainly hope its the launch of a new range anyway.

Can't say I know but it could be the start of a new wave of ACW releases for the big anniversary today, I hope that's the case anyway.

Fully agree Wayne, these are done very nicely indeed and all the poses are full of action.

Yes and I'm not sure how the credit card will cope mate!

I like the commando figures but I am looking for a good idea to put them in a diorama.

These commando's can be used anywhere from Norway to any part of Europe they were active Its not what idea of a dio its which one! I quite like the idea of a dock scene with them coming ashore and dealing with the sentry's before creating havoc!!
Mitch

Excellent idea Mitch, I also think some of them would look good coming off a Landing craft^&cool

I am eyeing a few of the new commando figures myself. They seem pretty versatile to be used in a variety of dio scenes.

Do agree PA, they could indeed . The rifle firing figures would make for good multiples too.

while its good they have released commando's especially in the cap comforter that became standard head wear for commando's I actually prefer the original release of commando's from what was it 05?? I just had a good look at mine and I feel they are still better in all aspects to the new versions. It may be early promo pictures but those heavy black lines used for definition are really apparent on these figures

Would like to see kayaks not sure if rafts would be done as TG covered those and may winter weather any I get to use them in the Norway actions.

the fighting sets are the best and not sure this will become a range as some have stated they are labelled D-day so, additions will be under that range or, they would have been a different title. Fingers crossed they are not so popular that they turn into a P range a few years down the line!!!!

Have to agree Mitch the black lines for definition do nothing for the figures but in general there very nice
