Hoping to whittle down some of the Vietnam series on Monday. With 10 sets already touted and another 11 in other series that I collect, in the pipe, there is a lot to hang out for in the TS collecting world. Not spending on travel, so plenty for the hobby, just need the product to materialise. Other series that I am looking forward to seeing being in the 11, are Roman, ALH, John Ford and AE. Something to think about anyway while stuck at home{sm4}.
What are others hanging out for?
Robin.

Of course for me it is always the Great War, but doubt any will appear! Been some time since we have seen any ALH but I live in hope.

There are ALH, but I guess releases are sometimes time driven. As you would remember Wayne, often around October was a traditional time when ALH was released. So like you, I am ever hopeful that later this year they come to fruition, although the last 2 years they have taken a back seat to ‘Aussies in Vietnam’. Robin.

Given ANZAC day has just passed, I'd love to see a two figure set of an Aussie digger and a Kiwi cobber enjoying a moment together on the battlefield.

Knowing Andy I'm sure he'll come up with something interesting......we can only hope. :salute::

At the end of today, I along with nearly five hundred other field based staff in the company I work for are being put on furlough, though my TS budget will be considerably be slashed, I'm still hoping to see some great new releases and hope to be able to get something this coming month and catch up on what I have to forgo now, later on in the year.
With so much Corona Virus linked tragedies happening throughout the world the forum really helps to take the mind off them with the chat about the hobby and seeing so many photos of new and future releases from Andy with his professional dioramas and the other great dioramas and collections of other collectors.

Please keep them coming !

I look forward to roman and John Ford cavalry. A Canadian Mounted Police miniserie would be fine.

This mirrors what many of us are suffering and I will be taking a step back from purchasing, I left 1 job in March 20 to start another in April 20 and that will not be starting until April 2021, but the organisation I left was a public sector one and there is no furloughing [in the UK companies could put people back on the books and then furlough people, we would receive 80% of our salary up to £2500 per month] so no support from there and no benefits as in the UK you cannot claim any benefits for 6 months if you voluntarily leave a job. Financial I should be OK for 6 months or so and will look for a new job and my family and friends are OK and 'touch wood' will remain healthy and that is the main thing.

I did receive a few sets I ordered before the shutdown including Sikh EA sets I was missing and the 2 British D-Day beach assault sets to complete my collection of those.
The forum is a great source of entertainment for me, I am also sorting through my attic and have found figures and sets [in boxes] which I forgot I had.

This month I think more Vietnam, US Pacific Marines and after that I have no idea, but has been a while since we have seen an aircraft, Could see some Medieval Warriors, but to be honest I am at a loss as what else. I know it will be interesting and great quality.

Nothing being the ancient range

followed by Napoleonic

then WW2

more modern related not interested, I find the early history period much more interesting and those days were exceptionally hard and different than modern warfare

all the best

there are so many periods in history hard to satisfy all

I took advantage of the "end of the run" offers...so i hope for more. I just bought some DD tanks and vehicles!

Hopefully we can see some more discounted WW2 items. I too grabbed some great items. Big help during this difficult time.
