:( I just Received the entire CS Tobruk 1942 WW2 Sets! I"M VERY DISSAPOINTED! The KETTENKRAD is Nice, but still Narrow and Not enough Room for 2-Rider's! The MOTORCYCLE Combo, is Larger than K & C, but the Figure's are Terribly Skinning, in Body Statue! They Look like FRONTLINE 1/32 Figures! The 88th Gun is Nice but the 88th CREW are also, looks like FRONTLINE 1/32nd Scale! The 3-MAN Infantry is also, Smaller in Body Staue and Skinny! You ALL know, I LOVE the DAK, and N.Africa WW2 Theathre! I Guess I have to go to CHINA, and Hong Kong, myself in Order to get SATISFACTION! Maybe talk to the Chinese Godfather and get Much More Results and Satisfaction! I would like to see 1/25th Scale, in the Making, this way the Vehicles, and Figure's are a Little bit Larger than Andy's and CS, Honour Bound, NEW Model Army, and Figarti! Sadly, I'm Totally DISSAPOINTED!

John,
This is indeed BAD NEWS.
If you're serious about going to China to chin (sic) The Godfather.....gimme a shout and we'll organise it so's we're there at the same time.
:);):);):)

So what you’re saying here john is you like your men plump and well fed. A bit of a chubby chaser huh…. I’m just kidding, just kidding. I’m trying to make light of a bad situation. Do you think you might be over reacting? I got my bmw r75 and love it. It’s one of the jewels of my collection and it fits in well. As far as scale goes… well that’s just silly I’ve see all companies change the scale of there stuff all the time even in the same release. That’s how hand made goes. As far as skinny goes. I’m a G.I. brat and lived around the army most of my life. I’ve never seam a fat soldier. Hell I’ve never seen a well-feed soldier either. Even in today’s army in peace or wartime. Now If no one minds I’m going to go daydream about all the dioramas I saw at the last show and wish more companies would start selling there displays.

John,

Sorry to hear that your unhappy. Currently we are sold out of the 88mm and crew also we are low on everything else.

We have many happy customers, (please see previous posts). Im sure we're not not the company you should be collecting from. And thats certainly fair. Refraining from purchasing any more of our products would be the very best course of action for you.

Happy collecting!

Best regards,

Brian

John,

Whoever you are you are very entertaining, I just read all of your other posts lavishing this company with the highest praise! Now they are mud on your combat boots! He He: Keep it up you are alot of fun to read. And maybe lay off the coffee my friend, you gonna have a heart attack!:)

I think John is only expressing what many collectors think: the vehicles and armor are very well done but that that figures leave a lot to be desired.

I also don't think telling someone not to buy your products is a recommended course of action but that's obviously your option. What I have found is that if a business has unhappy customers it tries to address the grievances those customers may have.

You know Im very happy about the collectors that enjoy our products. I think this hobby should be a big pleasure for collectors, not a big downer.

John seems so unhappy about our products that its just not what the hobby is about, if you read prior posts so many people love our current product.

So I strongly disagree with you, John should be experiencing loads of joy not unpleasantness when purchasing toy soldiers. I would certainly recommend not purchasing any more of our product in the future. We want customers that are happy not sad.

Happy collecting to all:)

Best regards,

Brian

I bought the figures of Rommel & his Adjutant and am quite happy with them. I have mixed them with the K&C DAK and they work fine together. I bought them since I liked the uniform that they show Rommel wearing which is reproduced on the cover of Osprey Men-At-Arms The German Army 1939-1945 (2) (North Africa & Balkans). (Note the cover of the Osprey from their website is not the right color of the actual book)I do agree, however, with Brad's past criticism about the wraith-like facial features. This is especially true of the adjutant figure. But perhaps he's just that way from worrying about those new K&C LRDG figures which are awesome! John just try to enjoy the hobby and don't sweat the little stuff. Life's too short. Be thankful we have companies out there making things for us to collect and have fun with.

Oops! I forgot that Wraith was your moniker. My sincerest apologies from from Polar Bear. Brad was speaking of the wraiths of Halloween and the sculpting of the CS faces.

My gosh now I'll have the Sheriff of Nottingham after me!

Lucky you living in the UK. My ancestors came over from England in 1638 and later in the 19th Century. As a boy I watched the 1953 Coronation on the telly here in the states and that started my mania with toy soldiers!
Sadly. I've never been to the UK and now with all the danger in our world don't know if I'll ever get there but would love to. I'd probably go nuts in all the toy soldeir shops and not be able to pay my way home.

Toy soldier shopping spree and marooned on an island far from home, or an airfare. Hmmmm, tricky one, but flying is over-rated. :)

Speaking of the Sheriff of Nottingham, that's what the kids have been watching on TV, thus preventing me from seeing the Rugby. $*%+£X!!!

:( Apparently people are Not looking at the Figure's, and Not knowing about Collecting well-made Toy Soldiers! These are Crossed between Britains Conte's, and Frontline! Andy, has made Many Great WW2 Figure's Now and in the Past! I will always Collect K & C as long as I'm Satisfied with the Body Staue's on the Figure's! I Personnaly must Say with ALL due Respect to CS/Brian, that I was Hoping to see CS Company bring us Collector's, Well-Built and GREAT looking WW2 Figure's, not to Disrespect CS/ Company, something has to be done to go back to Hong Kong/China and make sure these Guys are not giving you Brian, the Runaround! Maybe in your Toy World these Figure's, and to some on this Forum is Great ; whatever satisfies the Collector, then He/She, should be Totally Satisfied after spending a Whole -Lot, of Money on Dissapointments! Personnaly Brian, your Larger Scale First Original WW2, seem to me, to be MUCH Better Quality Wise, but Wrong Size, for Most of the Collector's! I'm Only telling you like a 'Dutch Uncle'! I had Faith in your CS Company! I've Spent 35-Years in Building and Collecting WW2 Toys and Models!

I think we might all be loosing perspective here. These are not $1,000.00 insanely beautiful painted Russian works of art or fine sculpted figures by Italian master sculptors. They are $20. – 25.00 lead or tin soldiers. I saw them myself at the last show and I’m looking at my little motorcycle right now, they look just like the photos on the website. Just like the photos on the K&C site look like the figures. So where’s the surprise folks? For a $25.00 tin soldier they are not bad and they fit with some of my other figures. I’m happy. So what’s really going on, are we just causing drama for the sake of drama? Everything’s too quiet so we’ll just shake up the jar of sea monkeys to see what happens. …… Oh! by the way did any one ever buy those sea monkeys in the back of comics when we were little? Now that was a rip-off. They never looked like the cartoon and half where always dead. And what kinda pet is a sea monkey? You can’t pet it or take it for walks or play fetch with it. False advertising is what that is. But a $25.00 toy tin soldier is just that. ;)

Rather than be swayed by any naysayer or cheerleader, all we need are more comparison ,side by side photos next to K/C, or we see them in person and make our own judgement. I have my eye on the armored car, but only if it fits in with my 95% K/C vehicle collection. Michael

That’s a really great idea. Now if I can just find where the little woman put the digital camera and figure out how to post the photos. But I will and so should every one else who can. We can swap them like baseball cards.

Here is a pic with the CS 88mm and K&C figures.

Thanks Alex, now I know what to do with the spare K&C gun crew from my 2nd 105mm howitzer set. I have my 2nd gun being towed by the prime mover, looks really good by the by and the other one in the firing position with the other K&C AK's.

Randy,
If you do make it to the UK, don't even think about Aberdeen's Union Street on a Saturday night. OMG, even I don't go there.......

Your remarks about John are rude. Why would you want to put someone down you don't know?
