with K&C recently releasing a whole despatch of WW2, and that K&C is previewing 1 of 2 new series at Chicago, does this points to no WW2 releases in October despatches?

I hope we get more WWII however, as you have said with this last release i doubt we will see anything of great value there... So looks like we are going to have to hope to get something in another one of our favorite series... I'm hoping we get something in the Civil War Union side they need a few more generals on horseback.

I would think we will still get dispatches in October, but it may be delayed until after Andys travels.

I hope we see some more German soldiers . SS, Wermacht, Falschirmjagers whatever. I just cannot get enough of those cool camo patterns and those decorations and crosses.

If no WWII releases appear in October, there is always the upside of pocket book relief....it's been an expensive couple of months for y'all and you have my sympathies.

Thing is Oct/Nov is normally the time we get Bulge releases,so it maybe we have even more stuff on the way.Even if i can't afford it all, i never tire of seeing this stuff released;)

Does no dispatches = no retirements? I wouldn't mind that so much;).

thats an excellent way to look at it Rob.

but what if Andy purposely expedite the Bulge releases now, and releases other series during the Oct/Nov period?

I like the bulge series so much that i would be quite sad if there is no addition to the series in that Oct/Nov period.

I certainly hope not!

whilst i'm certainly not complaining in the number of releases, i think K&C should slow down on the retirements, so that we could catch up.

I'm sure Andy has some US releases up his sleeve for us this Winter,it might just give me time to get the new 8th Army vehicles i still need first.;)

Quite frankly, I welcome some down time between dispatches. Nothing really interested me on the last dispatch, so I decided to pick up some vehicles that I have been wanting for quite sometime, like the M12 and M5 Stuart. What I would really like to see K&C release down the road is a winter Panther and winter T-34. I'll take those over anymore Tigers and Shermans for the time being.

I hear you! I'm thinking about narrowing down what I collect just so I won't be so hard pressed. For me it's not so much the $$$ as trying to get the figures from several lines then set them up then and see which additional ones I should get. I just recently decided to add some of the older French Naps (infantry) to my Napoleonic line and I can only hope they are not retired to quickly as I still need to get 30-40 more(currently on back order). By the time I finish messing around with this over the next few weeks I'll have to panic and make sure I've got all the WW I sets or some other line I've ignored for a couple of months:eek::D!

i get what you mean mate, with the excellent releases, its quite a feat juggling between a few series. but i'm too hooked to ask Andy to reduce the number of releases, in fact i wish it was more! but the retirements have to slow down a bit.

Rob, your reading my mind, I love the latest winter germans and would love to see some more g.i.s or armour for the winter series, can't have enough of those.....Sammy

I agree Sammy, for me the Bulge has to be one of the highlights of my collecting year.
