The wheels come separate from the gun carriage and must be attached. They do roll. I think they are very well done and am satisfied with them. I have four.

I've never owned any W. Britain artillery pieces, but I do own several of JJD's artillery pieces. From straight appearance they have the look of higher quality. They are quite detailed and the functionality of them are great with lots of moving parts. The barrel itself can be lowered.
