Downsizing Collection (2 Viewers)

I am downsizing my collection so virtually everything is for sale.

I have a lot of early K & C (WWI and WW II) as well as a significant K & C glossy collection; John Jenkins WWI (but no planes); FL WW II (mostly 101st and Stalingrad Russians) and American Civil War; Trophy India and Raj, Town & Country, as well as the Wild West and some Alamo.

I'm following your thread with interest. Like you, for some time now I have been thinking about downsizing my collection. This is mainly due to two things; age, I'm 76 and no one in my family is really interested in my collection. Lack of display space is the 2nd reason. After countless years of collecting I have virtually run out of display space. This is preventing me from even considering most all new releases for any manufacturer. Good luck Brad and much success at downsizing.

Thanks. I’m doing this slowly, one piece at a time.

For me, it’s mostly the first reason; I don’t want to leave this issue to my family although I don’t envision selling or wanting to sell everything.

Unfortunately, they will have their hands full with my music collection. I have about 2,500 cds and 300 records and that’s one area where I haven’t slowed down.

I have also hit my collection hard in the last 3 weeks to downsize and bring it in line with what I can accommodate later this year. It means another quarter of my collection has gone bringing it down to half that I had last year. Starting to see my items appear on this forum, nice to see they are going to forum members. Very selective buying now, especially with the state of the world finances. Robin.
Ps I think I have been very fortunate to be in this hobby in the past Golden Years.
