Guys, just thought I'd put this out there. We normally meet at 11.30 in the pub. But as we have visitors from the US and Australia joining us I wonder if we should put it back a bit so that they might enjoy more of the show before we all head to the pub? We could say 1.30 or 2.00pm?

As I say just a thought:smile2:

Rob

Rob,

Whilst it is well known that you would sneak off and hit the gin early at 11.30, for the rest of the crew, the congregation time was always 12.30. I can appreciate that after an hours' solid gin drinking, you might lose the odd hour or 24. :wink2:

That said, the later drink time, although painful to delay, would probably make more sense. And there's also less time for Andy (UK_BOD) to get smashed and then decide to go back in to the show with credit cards a blazing.

Anyway, I'll be in there until they kick us out (or more likely, kick James out for fratenising with the staff, and us feeling obliged to follow), so no shortage of drinking time.

Cheers
Simon

Hey Scott,

You'll probably want to check out the show first won't you,long way to come to go straight in the pub!{eek3} You know if you can't make the pub we will all be milling around again in the hall a bit later and so can catch up then. Ask Tony Neville to point out any of us who are nearby.

Look forward to meeting you on Sat:smile2:

PS. Is that you in the BBC D day prog clip???

Cheers

Nothing wrong with "drink and buy" - I've practiced it for most of my life.

Andy mate,
We haven't met as yet, but I am warming to this "drink and buy" practice. Although having said that Tony Neville has already cleaned me out of all my drinking money with a range of old K&C Dickens figures. I may plead poor and throw myself on the mercy of the assembled masses. I will plead that I am only poor country boy from the Penal Colonies.^&grin^&grin
Looking forward to catching up on Saturday. Enjoying some beautiful Welsh hospitality at the moment.
Cheers Howard

And, if I may say so, have achieved a level of mastery in this practice. You are to be congratulated sir. {sm4}

Fosters OK? {sm2}

Hey really looking forward to Saturday now. It's always good but sounds like it will be particularly fun this time! Meeting in pub at 1:30 sounds a plan to me! But make sure I don't go back inside to buy more stuff after!
I know I can rely on you guys to keep me on the straight and narrow!

Simon mate,
We from the Land Downunder export Fosters, we don't drink it. Now if you have some Victoria Bitter, Castlemaine XXXX or Swan Lager then it is game on.
I think Saturday is, if my memory serves me correctly is the first match between the mighty Wallabies and the Lions. A 56-10 winning margin is tipped to round the day off nicely.^&grin^&grin
Just about to start my fourth day of my Welsh Castle Tour. Beaumaris, Conway and Caernarfon the cream of Edward the First's Castles.
Then the big drive from Caernarfon to London. Your roads and I just love each other.^&grin
Looking forward to the Dinner, the TS Show and meeting all you blokes.
Cheers Howard

Saturday is Queensland Reds turn for a beating , i see the lions scored more points yesterday than Australia scored runs against India the day before . :)

That's fine with me Blue!:wink2: Wait for me at the bar Friday night Simon cos after the "grease monkey" quote you owe me :eek:

And......there's the reaction I was after.........and that you so neeeeearly rose above ^&grin

I know mate, we keep trying to return the favour, but nobodies interested in importing it. Still, at least we got Kylie as part of the package deal. :wink2:

James, I just the love the optimism. We've failed to do that on the previous 17 occasions, but of course, this being the 18th, it'll be completely different. You'll have to update us as to which pubs you've been barred from as we've lost track. {sm2}
