Hi Guys,

As promised on Friday... Here are the second set of images showing the completed display / diorama as it will be seen at the upcoming 'Chicago Show'...

As a project from beginning to end... just over 3 weeks work... and a whole lot of fun. A joint project for Gordon and myself.

Best wishes and hope to see some of you at the Show.
Andy

Neat and outstanding. Andy and Gordon tremendous shared experience for two very talented brothers. Many future memories for you each here and a hit in the making for the upcoming show. Doubt whether you will be bringing it home, too good for some collector not to snap up. Robin.

My guess is that this has already been sold. Some collector will be very happy. They don't call Gordon the King for nothing. Very impressive!

Wow, Andy, I can't wait to see this beauty in person in a couple of weeks.
I am always amazed at the particular levels of detail that Gordon and you place in each diorama.

Actually on TWO levels. One level is all the attention paid to the "small" (but very significant) details. In this case the floating pieces of wood, the imperfect brick walls, the gear on deck of the boat, the arrangement of the background buildings, and so much more.

On a second level is the attention to the "living" detail. For example the wounded soldiers being loaded on the boat, the civilians in a panic, the soldiers in conversation.

Truly wonderful job.

See you in a couple of weeks.

Five comments,
1/. WOW
2/. Where is the boat from?
3/. Can any Treefrogger spot any new items? Not a competition, but I admire the ability of my fellow Treefrogger to spot these thing
4/. There will be a few Treefroggers wanting to buy this dio.
5/. Did is mention "WOW"
