Any logic for a buyer refusing to leave feedback when an item is :
1) Shipping charges are within actual shipping costs.
2) Well packed and shipped next day of payment received.
3) Item as described.

No logic...but it happens all the time to me...

You should check the buyer's feedback record under the tab "Feedback left for others".

There are some buyers (for their own reasons) who have just stopped posting feedback for anyone for months, some even for years.

Anyway, I would prefer no feedback rather than an unwarranted negative.

Sometimes its better to let sleeping dogs lie. Provoking them could create a mess too difficult to clean up with your seller's rating. Then what.

I have a couple of buyers who've purchased repeated items from me. It would be nice to have the feedback but I'd rather have the do-re-mi than the feedback.

I only leave feedback after a buyer has left feedback for me (if he doesn't I don't...), got to find out if everything arrives smoothly, if any problem occurs the way the buyer works with me will be part of the feedback I leave.

Agreed...I would take the sales without feedback as long as they stay a regular customer...

I don't leave it unless its left for me. And, as a seller, I NEVER leave it first. Learned a couple hard lessons that way.

If im happy with the transaction i leave feedback always,don't really care what the seller does i know im a good customer............{sm4}

Exactly, Myself as a buyer I leave the seller feedback especially when everything went well !

What's the point. Sellers can't leave negative feedback for buyers anyway.

some want the positive feedback from you. if they have to leave it first then they tend to not leave ant at all. so that's what i do. at the very least, i don't get taken by surprise if there is an issue. there was a buyer from italy who asked for positive to be posted first and then he slammed me on shipping time when it was customs who created the delay.

as a buyer, i always leave feedback first.

That was the way when sellers could still leave negative feedback for buyers - but now they can't. Unless you check it off as positive and leave a very negative comment.

Exactly, As a buyer once an item arrives I check it out. Usually everything is fine and I leave the seller positive feedback for the great service. I have now adopted the policy to leave feedback after the buyer leaves theirs. {eek3}

it just helps to open communication if theres a problem. if the buyer opts not to leave feedback then thats what they do. if the buyer has a problem with something and we can't work it out then they can do as they wish but they won't get feedback from me. most of the time, if not all, an issue arises from a buyer not reading something, bothering to get a shipping quote, not reading a description or bothering to look at photos - also known as their own foolishness. yet they would hold me accountable for what they don't do.

Amazing, holding you responsible for their lack of common sense....:redface2:
