Bound to happen, when you buy a lot on ebay, every once in awhile.............
1. Bought Kingcast Mounted Mongolian on horseback single. Rare piece, Horse is supported by one leg, so fragile.
2. Seller ships on time, unfortunately, complete idiot in packing, so horse comes no longer mounted on base and rider with fragile arrow pack has issues.
3. Contact seller to let them know, didn't really ask for a solution, I got the thing for cheap, so in a way, I was just going to chalk it up to bad luck.
4. Seller " please send it back for a refund less original shipping per our policy" ^&confuse
5. Reply to point out that why would I do that, it would cost me more in shipping both ways and that since this was in no way my fault that isn't a good solution. Again, my reply didn't ask for a solution, more or less just a point.
6. Seller replies " Please send back for full refund minus your return shipping per our policy" ^&confuse
7. Again, I point out why would I do that and be out money when again, NOT my fault that your packing was subpar. STILL, my reply I do not ask for a solution, I am in the write off mode.
8. Seller replies rudely that I should read their policy prior to bidding.
9. Ok, now he got my attention. SO I reply: "As a buyer and seller on ebay, when a mistake is made, you do the right thing, you either send a refund and write it off or you get the item back at your expense and make the buyer whole" I further went on to say " I was just going to write this off myself, but since you have decided to be rude and arrogant, I will now take the time to leave the proper and deserved feedback".
I mean , really? Cmon folks, it is not that hard to do the right thing once in awhile. The sad thing is, I was just writing this off, the cost is so minimal its not worth the effort. But I tell you, nothing like a little self righteous rudeness to rile you up. This is a classic example where negative feedback should be left and it took a rude person to motivate me to do it. I sell and buy a lot on ebay and I just choose to not act this way, some people unfortunatley are just dense.
Thought I would share, if anyone wants the seller's id, please pm me, happy to let you know.
