I am not sure they do; these did but there is a reason the sales method of appraising requires mulitiple examples.

True,
however, since I hawk ebay a lot as a buyer and seller when I get rid of things, I can tell you Egypt is hot and has been getting hotter by the day. Some single figs have brought good money too. NOW, there are still bargains in the series too. BUT, the Pharoh, Chariot, Fan Bearers, any of the diorama pieces all have been steadily increasing from what I have seen. I think it is a great series and I have a mini dio set up that is quite colorful!

Why do you think it's hot? People trying to make a quick buck? I figured the Chariot would be expensive because I think you said it wasn't around that long due to breakage issues.

Well, I dont know! I think it is a great series that has been discovered? I do know that the chariot has always been rare in nice condition. The dio pieces seem to pick up a lot of steam as soon as they were retired, they all sold out of dealers lightning quick. Recently, the Pharoh Sedan Chair and fan bearers has gone crazy. Its a beautiful set, so I think that's the reason!

I don't know though, I think it is the age old supply/demand. K&C stuff always brings a crowd.

Dear "MarkeytMaker":
Wow, over $500 for K&C set that as I recall went for under $100.00 USD at original retail! I have the K&C AE 012 set and many other Ancient Egyptian sets by K&C in #4 dioramas or displays each at about 9 by 20 inches. It should be noted that another eBay seller of this same K&C set who would sell this item again soon might get a lot less. Prices on eBay can vary a lot from week to week. But it would indeed seem the K&C "AE" sets are going up in value on eBay.
