ED. Stug III in grey released (2 Viewers)

Thanks for the heads up AND the link. I get to the item with the link, but on any search, or going to the guys store on ebay, no items come up. Usually hitting the "worldwide" button works, but not in the case of y-weido... very odd...

I woke up, had a email, ordered it and was coming here to post a heads up and boom its already done.
Based on how happy I am with the winter tiger. I am looking forward to this stug.

These are indeed great models for the $$$. However, as a thoroughly satisfied owner of a couple of ED models...they are a little rough around the edges compared to "some products from other companies." I'd note, also, that the fella who introduced the line to Treefrog explained that to us at that very time. Not trying to be a negative-Nelly in any sense. I just want to keep things in perspective as regards ED vehicle replicas relative to offerings from other makers.

Quite right Moe, good to have more choice in the 1.30ish scale and at a more accessible level for adding vehicles to peoples collections.

The old adage ' You get what you pay for" never really goes away does it?
At this pricing thou, these allow me to experiment with weathering the tanks myself.
I am a little leery of experimenting with a 300 to 400 tank.

Yes, and sometimes you pay more than you should....I bought the kubelwagen a couple of months ago and it is terrific.

The figure can be removed and the top applied to suit your scene.

Carlos

Carlos,
The top moves up and down on that piece?
Can you post a pic?

After reading your post again I see that was a silly question.
It comes off. duh

Well, it has been some time since this Stug III Ausf F was released and I am surprised nobody stated it...
Were there such Ausf F vehicles in Grey color? If there were, which I doubt, it would have been in very low quantity...

You can also pay top prices for a model with errors and omissions included at no extra charge. A model must be evaluated on its merits individually; no matter who the maker is or what the price IMO.

This is an early Stug III ausf F, built from March to approximately June 1942, with the L43 StuK 40 75mm gun. After that the ausf F began to be produced with the slghtly longer L48 version of the same gun until priduction shifted to the F8 after September of 1942. So all would have been produced in Panzer gray as the Ordnance yellow did not start to be used until 1943.
The time frame for this early ausf F is perfect for actions in Stug brigades during the summer actions of 1942, including actions that culminated in the southern Eastern Front around Stalingrad.

Carlos exactly what I'm after where,who,how ?
Superb mate thanks for posting

Thank you Carlos.
Nice piece.

BTW, here are better pictures of the inside kubelwagon cab without the driver figure. I also added the steering wheel and empty driver chair. To be fair, the driver's chair was difficult to affix.

However, you can't beat the price and especially for quality of model, paint, weathering and options (driver, top canopy, steering wheel, folded canopy).

Also, the right side passenger's door is slightly ajar and does close flush to the car side.

Please show me a photo of a StuG III F-F/ 8 where I am not able to see a light base color or camo colors, in other words, tropen I or II combination....

....I found this picture it looks grey to me ?? but I am not sure if it was painted originally in dunkelgelb desert RAL 7028 or camoflage????
