ED Tigers with K&C Figures (2 Viewers)

Tom posted photos earlier in the thread of K&C DAK and Winter figures with the ED DAK and Winter Tiger I. Excellent size compatibility and very realistic IMO. Frank posted a photo of a K&C Panzer Kommander in the cupola of the Grey ED Tiger I on another thread, it fit well and looked good. The size seems to be about the same as the K&C Kursk Tiger I and the first TCS Tiger I's.

Cheers mate

Wayne,

If you are interested and still have access to HB in the Vehicle and Figure Measurements topic ED Tiger & others I have the ED Grey photographed against the Figarti/K&C Grey/ TCS 1/30 scale /FL.

If you don't have access will email to you along with Grey K&C figures again tonight

I am not trying to squelch the discussion but I do not mix different manufacturers' figures. It does not matter whether the scale matches or not. However, to those who do, more power to you! To each his own.

Hey Jason, this is the first chance I have had to respond to your post. I respect your opinion but for me it's not a big deal and I'm happy to mix brands so long as they can work together very well or reasonably well. As Kat has mentioned, ED only really make armour and vehicles so if you like their stuff then there's no option but to use figures from other brands. The same can be said about Kronprinz, they only sell figures (with the exception of some motorbikes) and you would need to buy vehicles from other brands to go with their figures. I like highly detailed armour and vehicles but I'm not willing to pay through the roof to buy them anymore. That's what I like about ED, their vehicles and armour are not perfect but they are well detailed and at a good price point. The same can be said about JJD's armour although John's stuff is even better detailed but still at a good price point.

Anyway, like you say each of their own and so long as what you collect makes you happy is all that matters.

Tom:

Excellent points all around. I especially like your point about the cost of detailed armor.

Best,
Jason
