Elephant I D Request (1 Viewer)

KV,
not sure if already answered, just saw this post, what you have here is 2 sets:

1. Elephant is Britains Circus set
2. Riders are Britains Durbar from one of the elephant sets or a combo of seating and civilians.

Forgot to say the "driver" is part of the Circus set, forget the number 8678 or 79?

Cal the cops. It is an illegal marriage! Marriage is supposed to be between a man and a womanI thought something was wrong. The howdah looks like it is from 8848!

Elephant is Britains Circus, howdah from the Durbar.

The figures I doubt are Britains. the little girl looks like a Johillco copy to me (she originally came with a cart horse to ride. The other 2 figures look more like Marlborough or Imperial to me.

Britfarmer, the driver is Britains, part of the circus elephant set, I have one. I think the riders, at least one is Britains, the woman, not sure where the little one is from, that is a mystery.

I beg to difer on that rider. That elephane came with a rider but it was a woman with her arm raised.

He is a pic of the Johilco girl I was talking about.

As for the female passenger what series would she have been from??

Wow, your eyes are better than mine, I haven't looked at my set in some time. looks like you are right.

The female rider looks like a britains civilian, again I could be wrong, but there are a few that are seated like that in the Durbar series. I have not seen a set number with them, but have seen the figs, but is she sitting? I cant tell. If she is standing, there is a Durbar civilians set from Britains.

Who knows? It is an interesting concoction though!
