Hello all!
We have just released our new damaged and undamaged Brick Walls. I thought that their height and color just screamed out for some painted signs.

As Allied troops entered Germany they encountered numerous examples of Nazi Propaganda emblazoned on buildings, walls and even defensive works.
Dr. Joseph Goebbels, Minister for Propaganda, churned out phrases to bolster the German people in" The Fighting and Sacrificing Home Front". These slogans appeared small and large everywhere from handbills and posters to large painted signs. here are a few samples...

G.I.s carefully make their way through the streets. Even with the front collapsing there are strong pockets of resistance. Both walls are painted with the common slogan "All for Germany".

Germans were reminded over and over that Adolf Hitler was their leader and obedience to him, the party and the state would insure victory.

A Feld Division soldier runs for cover... the wall is emblazoned with what must have been known as a lie at the time..." Adolf Hitler is the Victory."

Another common sign stating "Fuhrer commands, We follow". These hand painted signs are examples currently available, please feel free to contact us about these.

Another popular slogan of the party first used in the 1930s was "One People, One Reich, One Fuhrer". A G.I. takes aim at a distant target over the damaged wall.

As the war turned against Germany and the Allies closed in, some of the messages were for resistance. This one is roughly translated to "People stand up". This weary defender might be hoping for an end sooner, than later.

This is the last example I will show for now and it is painted in three colors rather than one. I thought this looked good in the German State colors of the period, and is pretty typical. I will try to post some pictures of a hand painted two color example soon.

In this photo a German defender scurries away looking for cover. The scene is composed with an H&A cobblestone street section, An H&A damaged factory, some H&A rubble and a W.Britain figure I patterned.

Here is one last image of the three color sign "The Fuhrer is always Right", along with a couple of G.I.s I patterned for ONWTC.

Thanks for looking,

As always Ken it is a delight to see what you are upto. Thanks for sharing your work with us.

Great stuff Ken yet again

I love the battle damage versions the best.

Absoluetly marvoulous Ken - just the best . . . . .
:) Mike

Thanks all for the compliments!
Carlos... I have a couple more damaged walls painted with slogans that I will photograph over the weekend. I have been painting a number of different things during my "catch up" during the last few days.
These new brick walls are pretty typical of construction you might see here in both the US and Europe so they should be pretty useful. These would look just as nice with French Napoleonic troops matching by... without the Nazi slogans of course!

There are a number of projects that are nearing completion here so I can get back to a few other patterns that are in progress. Hopefully we can have a number of new items to show by late spring.

I have been very busy tying up loose ends for Richard Walker to finish up the next W. Britain catalog. It seems like there are always things that come up last minute to bring it all together. Even then we never seem to be able to do everything we would like!
Here is the same walls used in a small display for Normandy.

Thanks again,
Ken

Are these painted on for collectors or, are they sold seperately as in dry transfers etc??
Mitch

Hi Mitch,
These examples were hand painted by me directly onto our new brick walls. All of our products are produced here in the US and decorated by our family. These custom walls are for sale and further inquiries are welcomed on the hudsonandallen.com website.
We also sell German home front posters as well as posters for occupied countries that are professionally printed and can be cut out and applied to the walls. These items are available here at Treefrog Treasures as well.

I will show some of these in the next batch of photos too.
Thanks for asking,
Ken

Gerat Photos, Ken.

Particularly with the First Legion figure, the wall appears to be very high. Good addition to the range.

I could imagine that some collectors might add another wash to further weather the walls.

That is a good point about the weathering, and we have offered the products to do that for many years now. I always try to develop items that will appeal to our broad customer base, which includes armor, military miniature and model railroad hobbyists.
I also would apply weathering to any of the custom painted walls here if requested.
Ken

Here are a couple more images of our new walls with the addition of custom painted slogans.
The first one is three color and the second damaged wall is two color. Both use Hudson & Allen Rubble and our standard damaged factory for a backdrop. To the far right is one of the destroyed brick building I patterned for W. Britain. The two Heer figures are by 1st Legion.

Hope you enjoy these,

Here is another Brick wall sample with a variation in lettering styles for "Adolf Hitler is the Victory".
I thought I would twist it a bit and use some posters from our Hudson & Allen German Home Front Signs set. I have used the poster warning against handling unexploded Allied incendiary ordinance and the warnings against looting. These imply that things aren't going in the victorious direction.

Our poster set includes common Nazi posters urging the participation in "The Total War' of the home front. They are professionally printed in high resolution and are easy to use. Check the Treefrog Treasures Shop under Hudson & Allen for these sand our other WWII poster sets.

Are these new wall colors the same as the damaged factory building?

Hi there!
We painted these in the same colorways thinking that some collectors may wish to use these together... So yes. Both the standard brick walls and the custom lettered ones will work with the factory.
Thanks for asking,
Ken
