Excellant reporting Steven,it is much appreciated on this side of the pond.Is there any news of new WW2 stuff other than warbirds?.

Rob

June '07 will be more DD sets: U.S. glider troops, more personality figures, some surprises. July '07 will be more German sets but Andy did not want to specifically disclose anything tonight.:)

All these are fantastic Steven.I would probably have always avoided buying a figure of Hitler as it kinda gave me a shudder. But there is something different (i don't know why) about the WW1 figure.I think i'm going to have to get all of these. All joking apart i don't know how to collect WW1/ACW on top of my other stuff.I'll just have to find a way somehow.Maybe i'll have to miss the warbirds.

Rob

I wonder if this means that a certain warbird is in the planning.

Thats what i thought, but Brad thinks it would be really expensive.Wouldn't you just love a Glider though.Imagine the dio's?!

You'll have to start selling some of your tanks Rob.

" Jagdpanther for sale, 1944, sunset yellow colour, 1 careful owner, good fuel consumption (18 gallons to the mile), some minor 'car park' dinks to the rear, but nothing a bit of filler won't sort out. Needs attention to the nearside panels which are missing, but rest of bodywork incl. zimmerit in good condition. Contact IWM with offers and ask for Dodgy Robby.

They wouln't miss one would they? :)

Re the expense, I don't know.
The prices for the Typhoon and ME 110 haven't seemed to phased anyone, so if a Waco were done to the 'production' standard, I'd have thought that it wouldn't have gone passed this sort of figure (pure guess work on my part mind).

And of course, we still need the Horsa. It'll be a pain in the a**e trying to squeeze it in to a Jiffy bag for postage though.

Anyhoo, if Andy has smiled at the suggestion, we'll just have to wait. And think bigger. Now, with the renewed interest in the Vietnam series, how about a B 52.
