It does look like no US delivery
I talked with Thierry (the owner of ToySoldiers Paris) and as his sales for Noth America were as high as nothing (I do not know how they manage to collect in Europe, the prices are incredible. After a serious exercise, I concluded, unfortunately, that I cannot afford the Charge of the Light Brigade), his software was not configured for delivery in North America.
With the enthousiasm provoked by the release of the figure of Jeanne d'Arc, he asked for a new configuration of the software but it is too complicated and, most of all, it would take too much time to do it.
But I ordered my figure and I did it online
As the majority of the members of the forum do not really understand french, I will guide you, step by step, to order it.
STEP ONE: Log on ToySoldiers Paris at www.toysoldiers.fr
STEP TWO: Click on the figure of Jeanne d'Arc
STEP THREE: Click on Commander
STEP FOUR: In the section called panier, enter the amount that you want to order in the square Qté
STEP FIVE: In the subsection called Livraison, in the square Pays de livraison, enter Angleterre
STEP SIX: Click Continuer at the bottom of the page
STEP SEVEN: Fill the form to create an account
Civilité = Gender
Nom = Surname
Prénom = Given Name
Adresse = Address
Code Postal = Zip Code (USA) Postal Code (Canada)
Ville = City
Pays = Country (by default, it will be Angleterre)
Téléphone = Phone Number
E-Mail = Email address
Remarques et consignes de livraison = remarks and delivery instructions
STEP EIGHT: In the square Remarques et consignes de livraison indicate (I made a clear warning) that the delivery address is in USA or Canada (or any other country)
STEP NINE: Click on Continuer at the bottom of the page to acces the section called paiement
STEP TEN: The payment will be, by default, by Carte Bancaire (credit card)
STEP ELEVEN: Click on the square Je certifie avoir lu et accepté les conditions générales de vente (I assure that I read and that I accept the general conditions of the sale)
THERE IS A WARNING IN RED (just before the button called Continuer) that reads as follow: Attention: After you will have clicked on Continuer, you will be not allowed to modify your order
STEP TWELVE: Click Continuer
STEP THIRTEEN: Choose your credit card
STEP FOURTEEN: Enter your credit card number (No de carte) and the expiration date (Expire fin)
STEP FIFTEEN: Enter the last three number (cipher) on the back of your credit card in the square Veuillez saisir...de votre carte bancaire
STEP SIXTEEN:Click on VALIDER
STEP SEVENTEEN: Print the reference of the transaction
STEP EIGHTEEN: Pay your credit account when you will receive it
My estimation of the price of each figure is 165,00$US, excluding the custom fees, because the shipping fees will over 20 euros (which is the cost for the delivery in England).
I hope that those informations will help you and avoid that you have to pay I don't know how much money on eBay to get it.
Best regards,
Pierre.
Thank you Pierre,
I just completed my order. It was easy with your guidance.
Carlos
Dear Pierre,
I also want to thank you. Your instructions were very clear and it was easy to order. The only thing I want to note is that there is no place to enter the state or province. Just in case, I reentered my address in the Remarques et consignes de livraison section in the standard American address format with the state to the right of the city.
Pierre
Sorry little confused at the begining of your conversation. What was the refrence to the Charge of the Light Brigade about?
regards
Tony
I think Pierre is having the same problem that most of us do, which is selecting which ranges to collect, based on financial circumstances. It's just not possible to collect everything.
Pierre, the only thing I can say is that Tony and Bob will be in Chicago so you might avoid some taxes if you come to the show. Of course, you would have pay for hotel, travel so nothing is ever easy.
Pierre,
Thanks for the great instructions! I ordered my figure this morning.
Regards,
Louis
