Exclusive figure (3 Viewers)

Pierre

...You are correct with the comparible figure but ALL please remember that WE as K&C UK have to also pay for the design development and box design of the range to make it EXCLUSIVE. Being a business these costs of course have to be spread across the range. So a like for like comparison against a K&C self made figure is not 'eggs for eggs'...

Tony-

I do not criticise your prices. I know that you have a cost and that you have to make profits and that you do not have to exagerate on the final price because nobody will by your products. Again, it is the ****ed 30% that I have to pay for clearing the package through customs that stops me. Too much is too much.

Amitiés,
Pierre.

...Pierre and any other Forum member Myself Bob and Dave from K&C UK are talking about a few drinks in the K&C UK room before the event in Chicago.

We are going to bring over some UK Beers for some serious sampling if anybody is interested....

Tony

Wow! The best beers in the world! Which brands? I love to taste new beers especially the ones from small breweries.

Pierre.

Pierre,

If you buy these in Chicago, do you still have to pay customs when you go back?

Pierre and anybody else wanting to try out what we are bringing (porbably sending over!!) ;)

From the small breweries around where i live. You will have such delight as Bishops tipple, Hens wing well to many to mention here all about 15%proof and very smooth easy drinks but boy do they fight back in the morning.

Make sure you look out the K&C UK room just up from Andy's on the same floor. We are intending to make sure everybody in the industry has a bit of fun customers and traders alike.

Come on in and join us................Want a serious conversation make sure ou come by early!!!!

Tony

PS Pierre i know you were not critising our prices and we have a number of Canadian customers so appreciate the customs issue you have just like South Africa. Nothing gets by them. One of our Canadian customers spoke with Customes and they have record of every K&C figure he has had! for the last three years!

Incredible!

And it is possible to create a trust in a tax heaven in the Caribbean Islands and transfert one billion dollars without paying a single penny to the public treasuries (federal and provincial) like it was done a couple of years ago by a canadian taxpayer; On ne donne qu'aux riches (free translation: we are giving only to the rich).

If I stay seven days outside Canada, I can bing goods for a value of 800,00$CDN back. If my wife comes with me, I double... but what about her:confused:

Dear Tony,

Just a thought, my wife and I used to pack wine and cognac as gifts on international trips to Hong Kong. More often than not, we are told by either the ticket agent or the gate agent (after our checked in luggage is screened) that we cannot bring the liquor in our luggage, and asked to remove it. When asked, the issue is always security despite the fact that Duty-Free shoppers can carry on their purchases. After having to abandon some expensive wine and cognac, we no longer pack it. :(

Steven,

The obvious solution is buy something cheap in a "Duty-Free" shop, ditch it, and put your liquer in the duty free bag. Nobody is going to question how your liquer ended up in the duty free bag, so you technically haven't done anything wrong.

Dear Louis,

Don't forget, you now cannot bring liquids through the security check, and all the Duty Free shops are after security. Having your luggage tagged and asked to go back to the ticketing counter (after going through security) is a big hassle.:(

LOL (as you used to say in english - Brad told me one day what it means but I forgot).

Pierre.

That's correct, buying discounted liquor, perfume etc is now a waste of time and money because they are liquids and banned from aircraft.

My concern that most Americans are used to a thin watery beer!!! i cannot be held responsible for any purchases made under the influence of Bishop Tipple or any other beer supplied by myself and Bob.

Just thought another good one would be the Lindisfarne Mead made by the Monks in Northumberland.

Tony

I'm wondering how you guys are going to get this through customs:confused:

Brad

Not too bothered about customs as we will have cases full of toysoldiers........this one normally makes customs move us on!!!!:D

I will send two ltrs of Mead over with the crimean shipment to the hotel.......

We are only looking at having enough for a pleasant evening of drink and toysoldier chat......
