Fall of Crete (1 Viewer)

Out of the box thinking using that wagon Steve. Mine is floating around in the English Civil War. Interesting change to alter the colour of the photo. Gives it a little more authenticity I think, like a period photo. Robin.

Cheers Robin, yes the wagon comes in useful for lots of different periods. As you say stepping away from a colour photo to Sepia for this scene does lend the photo an age.

Good one steve.
Nice use of the jjd buildings.

:salute::

Thanks Andrew. Yep these JJD buildings come in useful. You see lots of Windmills all over Greek islands and so fit right in with this scene.

Steve

Great photos Thanks for posting!

More of what we have come to expect from one of our TOP builders.
Really like the photo sepia coloring and the camera angles ... as mentioned they actually look like period shots.

Also as before an nice mix of manufactures and eras to fill out the scene and make it totally believable.
Always enjoy your work, Steve.

B&W add to the realism looks great mate.

not much of a fan of the sepia in most pics...
but agree with these guys...
if it ever worked in a photo...
it REALLY works in this one...

Excellent topic Steve and brilliant use of a variety of figures and the JJD barn & windmill!:salute::

Would love to see Andy take another look at this campaign and produce a few more Grey FJs and associated Allied figures, specifically for the Crete invasion.

One day soon maybe? ^&grin
