Thought the special effects well done. A lot of story lines to be completed in the finale. I wonder how many of the younger generation caught the significance of the transition to color after the tornado? Chris

Once again this show surprised me with the way events play out. I know something is coming but I never quite see what it will be. This episode didn't disappoint. -- Al

I don't understand the significance of the ring. ^&confuse Chris
Nor do I. Don't see how that ring, tied to the photo and person, will win the war? Guess we'll find out next week since I think that is the finale. -- Al

Finished watching Seasons 3 & 4 this weekend. Enjoyed all four but found Season 1 to be the best, probably due to Billy Bob Thornton's starring role. Interestingly, Season 3 ended with a cliff hanger as opposed to the finality of the other three. Chris

Well, the finale didn't disappoint. The mystery of the ring was neatly done but I must admit I saw the ending coming because of the fact that there was one character that hadn't been wrapped up, so to speak, and it was a Coen Brothers product. I enjoyed the whole season. -- Al

I caught up with the last two episodes. The finale was weak and in the end what was the point of the season. In the original movie, at the end Marge Gunderson (Frances McDormand) asks the bad guy in the back of her squad car why he did what he did, “For what?” You could say that about this season. My early suspicions were confirmed. A waste of use of talent by Hawley. If there’s a fifth season, they should head back north.

I had a similar reaction. I suppose there was some type of message in all this but it was beyond me. Many of the story lines went nowhere. The Wizard of Oz meets some kind of violent undertone to American history. Still worth watching but they are reaching the end of the line. Like American Horror Story, you can only do so much with a narrative before it wears thin.
