Farm House with K&C Cold Stream Guard Naps............ (1 Viewer)

Tony...thank you...I use the bracing on the exterior of the doors to make them more interesting architecturally...the little bit of extra work makes them stand out a little more....I'm not sure what you mean when you ask how I do the "tiles"...what are the "tiles"?

Mike, I believe he's referring to the roof tiles...................Joe[/QUOTE]

the Spanish style roof tiles are made from hydrostone using Hirst Art's molds...

easy to cast and can be customized to fit any size roof...

here is a picture of the mold...

and a link to the website...

Thank you Mike for the jnformation.About the doors=in 50 years of farming I have built and repaired many doors on sheds etc and the bracing is always on the inside and the hinges are there also so the doors open inwards.Maybe it's just an Australian thing. The roof tiles,I thought were like Roman tiles-very impressive. Thanks again.

Tony...
maybe I got the idea from K&C...
I don't know...
I built a lot of log cabins and desert buildings (as they go with almost any war)...
I have always tried to make the door a little more interesting...
a little more dilapidated...
