As the scene unfolds a nod to Charlton Heston's Ben Hur for sure.

For me, the story of all to come is in the Centurion's gaze.

Well done portrayal of the biblical crucifixion. The centurion's gaze says it all but the foreboding heavens make the scene more realistic for me. Nicely presented and like your latest offerings as well. Regards Greg.

Steve...
love the backdrops with the ominous skies...
great choices for those figures...

A wonderful work, Chris.
As mentioned, great figure selection and placement.
YES! The stare from the centurion says it all.

Thanks Greg. K&C's crucifixion figure really lends itself to the portrayal of Christ on the cross and I'm sure many others have already thought the same thing as well. Yes the dark brooding sky and it's changes really do make the scene become realistic.

That is awesome, very appropriate for Lent. Chris

Thanks Chris. I was pleased with the finished scene for the Rebel's crucifixion, that it was natural to try doing this one and as you say, an appropriate time of year.
