Britains Lancer Officer turned in the saddle.

I have two versions (so far). The brown one is a recast - and the grey is the real deal - but repaired and repainted. jb

Above should be some pics of ACE-04P, a TS-likeness of Canadian Donald MacLaren. Hey, how about that riding crop!:D Of course, if the part ever breaks off...it'll really be broken! Love the piece anyhow, $30 well spent.

Any of Andy's wonderful mounted figures. Robin.

I agree that the CJB Models Austin CS8 Platoon Office Truck and crew are about as good as it gets in this hobby:

My favorite's are the Thomas Gunn TGM sets. All were 2-3 figure Fallshirmjager sets.

Pictures here are TGM005B PAK 38 w/2 Crew & TGM006B Add on PAK 38 set w/ 3 figures , both are the Tropical version.

Hard to pick a favorite but this is definitely one of them.

First Legion Three Musketeers

Well, it's hard to choose one out of one thousand, especially when you are away from your collection. It was tempting to select the entire Britain's Nile gunboat or the Britain's matt-finish Durbar elephant. It was also tempting to select one of John Jenkin's vehicles or First Legion's inventive poses. There are a lot of intricate and flashy figures including generals, standard bearers, cavalry, and musicians that are stunning.

In the end, I picked one of the first figures I owned. I still remember receiving the set as a gift from my mother after her earlier gift of a membership in the WBritain collectors' club. This was 2005, the company's first year under First Gear. I didn't have many figures at that time, so I learned to appreciate them as individual pieces.

I think this particular sculpt really captures the struggle of a young guardsman as the French break through the North Gate of Hougoumont. I usually pair the figure with an NCO either pulling him away from a bayonet thrust or pushing him back into line.

Hard not to pick the Britain's War Along the Nile Gunboat, so here it is!

Jeff, that is indeed special. Vessels always look fantastic.

How could I forget about the USS Eagle by Trophy {eek3}. It's all made of wood.
