Luiz,

Are the little scout car and the Bren Gun Carrier CJB Models as well?

Hi Louis,
The Bren gun carrier is TAMIYA, plastic kit assembled many years ago.
The scout car comes from a different UK source, bought it at an estate sale.
Cheers
Luiz

They look good with the CJB Models. I was asking because I am trying to put together a list, so I know what I am chasing after. So far, among the ones I don't have that I want to find are the 1939 Morris CS8 Platoon Truck (which I missed out on last night), that wonderful 6 wheeled Battery Staff Car you and Larry Lo have, that terrific 6 wheeled Morris Artillery Tractor you have, and the Mobile Canteen I saw on ebay a few years back (the first CJB model I ever saw, and I bid like crazy to get it, but wasn't even close) . . . I can dream, can't I?^&grin

Dear Louis,
I hear you and share the same wish...too bad that these are limited editions and are difficult to come along in the market, specially for us that do not live in the UK were the few that were produced were mostly sold. The guy that made them gave up for as it has been explained to me they were not " marketable " and he did not make money or so.....I wish I new the chap, would have bank rolled him and made a tone of money selling these fine sets to real collectors....
Got to know CJB by sheer luck...too bad too late......
To add to your list ( I have seen them in pictures but do not know how to get hold of them ) there is a Tilly version, a Morris car ( like the one you said to have bought today ) in two versions a radio car and a staff car...very nice both! I guess Lo has the radio version...., the flat nosed truck we both have also comes in a Rig truck version, and the regular army truck we have, also comes in the RAF version, last but not the least there is the Beaverette homeguard reconnaissance car, the Light Hummber Mark III ( you already have ) to mention a few that I recall. This is all out of memory......5 or more years ago! Plus all the civilian versions of which you have a few.
Legend says that there are certain German sets, but I have never seen one!!
Let us join efforts and see if more friends in the forum can help us in this quest!
Cheers
Luiz

I would say my favorite items in the hobby are ones that are unique, individual works of art, such as Gordon Neilson's custom King & Country dioramas, Heco Tinplate Models, CJB Models, Metal Shed products, and John Firth's custom painted figures.^&cool^&cool With the exception of Metal Shed (only because I want to avoid bankruptcy:wink2:), I collect all of the above listed items, and enjoy them more than any of the mass produced items I collect.:smile2:

Hi Guys,

While I enjoy seeing massive collections of vehicles it sort of makes it difficult to pick one. But here goes, favorite vehicle I have is my Grey Tiger 1 from New Model Armory. Like a lot of you I really like the look of this vehicle and its history. Favorite figure is a lot more difficult but if forced to pick one it would be the mounted Officer of the Viceroys Body Guard from the Britains original glossy line Durbar. There are others that rank up there as well but that one is tops.

Dave
