I received a Facebook Memory reminder of what I was doing on today's date in 2014:

"Spending time today working on and enjoying my American Civil War diorama table. It looks like a gray tsunami rolling over the fence line."

Better than ours. But we both did a fence, many flags, wounded and advancing/scaling fence. Plus nice background. Realistic and fun, reminds me of our old collection of ACW...
Best Wishes

Thank you Paddy. This was a fun one to do. I still have the diorama table (4' x 8'), however the scenario, although still ACW driven, has changed from time to time over these past 11 years.

Hey Mike, do you still have any photos from the time Ericka and I visited and I brought along a good many of my own figures to group with your troops? Mine are long gone! (Including most of the troops)

I remember that forum post! The thread should still be on here.

Ken, it took me a while to download the photos I have off an old computer I no longer use. I did manage to get 9 photos of our visit (in 2010!)
Would you like me to post them here or send them to your email? Here's one of them . . .

Hey, this is great…feel free to post them here. We had a great time during our visit and you taught Ericka a new way to cook tasty potatoes too!

Here's what I have from our visit in July 2010.

You're very welcome Steve. The potato recipe is very simple: quarter the potatoes, boil them until soft, drain, smother them in butter and parsley, salt & pepper to taste.
