Hello there,
I am sure some of you already looked at the pictures I posted on our W.Britain Facebook page, but I thought I would share them here also. I am happy to say that we have finished our WWI German Hf11 field kitchen and accessories.
It took a fair amount of research getting all of the details right and designing a group of figures to bring it to life.
I hope you enjoy this as much as my creative team and I did making it!

This is superb. Looks like it was lifted straight from All Quiet on the Western Front. I can see Kat, Paul, Tjaden, and all the rest waiting to be fed their double ration. Really thinking outside the box on this one.:salute:: -- Al

I'm looking forward to seeing these. I'm glad to see Germans being made.

I really do like this setup, will have to add it to my collection. Are there two sets being shown here? On the facebook page there was a chicken posted in one of the dios is that part of the set?

Thanks Ken, really nice vignette right down to the dog. On the list. Big fan of behind the front line or as I call them "at rest" style of figures. Something to look forward to and a reason to keep working to make money. :salute::Robin.

A close up of Music to Peel By, the two figure set with dog...

I think it could used very easily for a WWII diorama as well. I don't think there significant changes to the Gulaschkanone from WWI to WWII.

Prost!

Absolutely beautiful!
Great job, well done by Ken and the team.

Hi Brad,
You are correct that surviving Hf11s were also used by the Whermacht during the 1939-45 conflict. The more common version would have been the Hf14 as often modeled in 1/35th scale.
I could see our Hf11 updated with an all steel limber for WWII...

Here is another close up for you... The men line up for tonight's fare...

Yes, the chicken comes with the field kitchen, accessories and three soldiers. We even modeled the horse collar from a surviving Bavarian Army collar.
