Figarti desert tent for K&C figures (1 Viewer)

I wanted to hear some opinions about the Figarti desert tent. I think it looks great. I know that it is 1/32 scale, but do you guys think if it would look good with the AK figures. I am one of those people concerned about scale, so that would determine whether I buy a product or not. Has anyone ordered it or seen the tent in real life?

The recently announced release at the OSTN (Chicago) 2008 show of desert tent is 1/30 scale and should look great with both KC's & Figarti's DAK figures.

I saw the tent at the Chicago OTSN show being used with Fagarti and K&C AK troops - only one word comes to mind - FABULOUS. You won't have to worry about a scale problem.

Hello Pfeil,

I just pick up my Figarti tent today from George (Minute Man Toy Soldiers). It is absolutely fantastic.
It does say 1/30th on the box, and I placed some of my AK and EA figures and vehicles beside the tent and they look perfect.

The weathering and color goes great with both the AK and the EA sets. It is completely hollow inside so I suspose you could put something in there but the top does not come off. Still, for an eye level dispaly on a shelf maybe some furniture might be an idea.

And given today's prices, @ 100.00 it is well worth it. Only wish I could have three or four.

Figarti figures for the desertb are to smal but the tent looks okee .
i like the medic set whit tent the hat at the chigacoshow .

Well I saw a photo of the Figarti tent with a Red Cross symbol but I can not find one anywhere. It should be a very easy paint job and then a little weathering to get a Red Cross (I would think.)

Last I hear (in Chicago) the desert tent is out now and the US Medic tents (OD colored and weathered) will be out in the next couple of months.

Dear John,
I was told that the production of the "Desert Tent" would be 160 while the "Medical Tent" would be 100. The Medical Tent will be a Build-a-Rama release.
