I figured that due to the obvious favoritism shown towards K&C by this forum, every manufacturer should have a diorama section to show the wonderful products also made by other manufacturers.

We will show here there is life beyond dios made with K&C products, created by many talented members, that do NOT involve K&C products. So there is a need for every manufacturer to have a dio section.

I think there were different issues at the crux of why a K&C dio area was made on the forum. I think it had little to do with favouritism of one company. I prefer the way its done here and elsewhere unfortunately it was not a way that was able to continue in the K&C threads.

I would hope we don't see a dio thread in every section as it just splits the discussion and fragments the threads IMO.

I agree. I too think it splits the threads and is a poor way to do it. Seems that it was done for K&C only because there were so many dios being done and so many non-dio threads, it was bumping threads off the first page very quickly. I don't think it gives any advantage or smacks of favouratism - it's just a matter of the volume of posts. I just hope the volume of K&C posts doesn't get so big that it spells the End of the Forum :rolleyes2:^&grin^&grin

And it is a excellent one.

I stick by my idea ......If you want to see dios you go to the dio section if you want to discuss something about the product then you start a thread in the regular section. This Forum has obviously always been slanted towards K&C, but many newcomers have come into play in the past few years and they stole a lot of the K&C thunder.

Wow, GREAT looking pics and dios. I tend to NOT want a separate dio section in each maker's section-it becomes another area I have to hunt for/dig into as sometimes I've only got a few minutes per day to spend on this site. I prefer to see dios woven in with discussion threads as we currently do. I tend to skip the KC dio area for this very reason-not a protest as much as I consider it an inconvenience.
Just my two cents (worth every penny paid for it-lol).

Frank, Love that photo you posted. Another prime example of using a good quality back drop with good quality ground work gives an awesome diorama !!!!

Frank gets such a good effect that you wonder if it is worth it to spend the endless hours we do creating our scenes. Nick and I are getting a bit worn out as of late. Throw down a terrain mat with a backdrop and the results are excellent.

I am just finally finishing my display area and of course that will all be custom built. But for photos Franks formula is a killer.

I actually had forgotten that Panda had started a Figarti Photo section I should have jumped in there and had all of the Figarti Pics together....Oh well

I guess K&C does need their own dio section because of all of the discussuon and arguing that goes on up there. {sm2} And I guess there has not been many Figarti dios done here, just look at how few BSP did in this thread, and I ONLY have a 100 or more pics to show. :wink2:

Yup.....Thanks Oz........The good old days all in one spot.....I guess it is good for newcomers also to have a bunch of Figarti stuff in one spot.

Many new ones are on the way.....We are just taking some time to finish up our new Headquarters first.......

Remember this is not just a BSP thing everyonr jump in with your Figarti Scenes. Alex
