Did someone now what happend with the homepage of Figarti? Or with Figarti?
It is not possible to select the homepage.

It's been down for about a week. It doesn't bode well for their future.

Figarti has joined Honor Bound and Conte in toy soldier history. The end has been predicted for several years. A company can survive only so long on repaints. A sad end to a fine company; that will always be known for its quality and innovation.

Long live the remaining companies that still produce Toy Soldiers !

Per Matt of Hobby Bunker, we appear to be wrong. Figarti decided to close down the website because it's obsolete. They are working on a new one.

The toy soldier company that just won't die!!! ^&grin
let's hope a new website brings new models to the table.

Where is the Figarti King Tiger? FL will have one before Figarti and for a mere $499.95, figures extra!

Homepage should not stop them bringing out the two rail armoured flat cars shown last year at one of the toy shows. One wonders what really is happening behind the scenes. ^&confuse, Robin.

I consider them a retired maker. You will see pigs fly before you see new product from them.

What business takes down their site before the new one is ready to launch? Kinda odd. Even Conte's site is still up.

If I remember correctly, many had this company dead/buried then all of a sudden 2 variations of a Panther showed up, soooooo....I agree with most that the overdue product or there lack of is pretty dismal, but I'm a optimist and pulling for Figarti to stage a comeback, I haven't seen any pigs flying lately but one never knows.:)

I have tried 7 times in different ways to order direct and received zero response. Maybe that was good fortune as based on the current track record, I am not so keen to send payment to China.
So in my opinion, they are done.

Deleted my previous post. The horse has in addition to being beaten, been carved up as well.

My best guess is that the armored railcars on display were Trumpeter 1/35 models, built and displayed to show future intent; which never happened. The modified Panther G's are repaints with a few added bits to suggest new products. Enjoy the memories of Figarti; as that is all that remains!

When did Figarti claim they were doing one, ie, show me pictures of the prototype.

If First Legion did Pieper's command tank 008 from The Battle of the Bulge in three tone ambush scheme, it would sell out in 10 minutes regardless of the snark.

Their latest tank is flying off the shelves as we speak.

So get your metal ruler ready...................................

Two tanks being produced in a year does not a company make; they showed a couple of prototypes a few years ago at OTSN that have yet to see the light of day, then they rolled out two tanks at the show last year and they hit the shelves in the Spring.

Color me unimpressed.

Rick was an innovator, a sharp businessman who made his Father's dream a reality, no one did shock and awe at Chicago as well as Rick did. I've heard the new owners are undercapitalized, maybe buying a company when you are short on funds is not the best move.

Not to go off topic, but in the past year, we've had one manufacturer in the UK go out of business, a major retailer/distributor in the UK go bankrupt, Figarti is limping along on life support, another company in Spain pulled the plug on US distributorships and is attempting a direct selling model, all of the shows I attended this past Spring were down in both sales and bodies through the door.

Manufacturing/retailing toy soldiers isn't all wine and canoes; where is this hobby going? Who knows, time will tell..........................

Again, your guess is not a fact. I was there, handled them in the flesh, they were fully scaled 1/30 model prototypes. Not to beat a dead horse, stop guessing at already well established facts.

Back to topic, IN MY OPINION and based on the facts posted elsewhere and my own personal experience - PUT A FORK IN THIS ONE. IT IS DONE, DONE AND MORE DONE.

AND if by some miracle, money grows on a tree in China next to their soon to be new home (they are without one as of right now), then they actually produce a product on their own dime, THEN we can say they are a going concern. BUT as of now , as a CPA, and if they were under an annual audit I was conducting, there would be a serious disclosure of Going Concern and that is a FACT.

Figarti rep told me in person at the Westcoaster 2016 that their KT would be out by the end of the year if not sooner.
