Hey Guys:

I thought I try something a little different. It's yet another diorama showing the German K5 Railway Gun with a mix of other manufacturers products. It's all available now and it just took a little imgination. I hope you enjoy it.

Fantastic diorama, Carlos!

What a great set-up. The gun is a real piece of artwork. -- Al

Carlos,
Wow! That looks great! what a fine collection you have! Love the "Field greys".

Thanks everyone. It was fun building and learning how to go multimedia has been a long journey of learning that continues. Yet, it's still fun.

I encourage anyone that has some of these skills to try it and post them here, on other blogs and YouTube to expose the hobby to others that are clueless that this hobby exists. Heck, I know Firebat produces some goo d media well and we have great dioramas (playsetaddict, debrito, UKReb) and many more).

It's true, this hobby has limited appeal to general public and its small. However, this hobby has been around for years before I discovered it 7 years ago and when I did, it was a kid in a candy store.

Do you think there's guys like you and me out there that would be turned on about this stuff?

Anyway, here's another picture but check out the video on youtube for those of you that haven't and leave comments and or "like" ratings on it.

Carlos

Carlos, what a terrific piece of work. The groundwork is particularly fine. Had a chance to see the UTube, and that's a great way to present your dio. I also found myself bobbing in time to the marching music. It reminds me of a French/Belgian NAP dio done the same way that showed up on the forum, and he used the 1812 overture for his theme music.

Enjoy

Joe

Carlos...beautiful diorama...the detail is fantastic...I totally enjoyed the video and all the little vignettes you have created in this complex drama. Nicely thought out and executed. Well done!

Carlos

Again guys,

Thanks for your comments. It’s a lot of work putting this altogether but I love it because it’s FUN! Anything I can to help expand this “pie” called toy soldier and military miniature hobby is worth it. Yes, it’s a small hobby but I bet in time we can triple its size despite the age of computer games and the short attention spans it creates in us men.

“The Lt”, I watched “Zulu” yet again on blu-ray” it was fantastic! I wish I had the space and funds to add more lines to my collection. I’ve enjoyed your dioramas and dedication to toy soldiers and to the dioramas thread in this Forum. Thank you.

Try using Microsoft “MovieMaker” to create your own photo slide show videos. I know MAC has a similar program. It’s pretty easy to operate.

I know this is old, but I just stumbled upon it and LOVE the video. I'm in the market for a Figarti K5 Rail Gun if you know anyone!

Best,
